This card has HUGE potential. I think it should be 3 mana though. It all depends on the demons we get this expansion
I don't like these types of cards in constructed, it's like you're giving up deck building and game strategy for RNG, if you get a great curve with good demons it's probably a win, no strategy required.
so where is my Skull of the Man'ari?
This card is so good that it might even make Plot Twist playable outside of meme decks. Just play a handlock deck, Plot Twist into your Shadow Council if you don't draw it, then dump a bunch of overstatted minions on your opponent.
oh shit, this makes me wanna play my renounce darkness warlock (crafted double golden btw)
All Demons are fair game here? Imma fel up this joint!
You know what would have been sick. If this card had the word discard instead of replace. Would be soooo good in quest discard warlock in wild
Honestly not useless. We are also about to get an infusion of demons, so you can't really write this card off.
Bonkers with all of the new demons shown. I mean, that new 2/4 for 2 mana'll be a 2 mana 4/6 with a bonus effect. PREEEETY good.
The use case is this:
Turn 5 or 6, Zoolock, you're running out of fuel and need a strong tempo swing, otherwise you're pretty much done. This can accomplish that role.
I'm from the future, and I'm here to tell you that this card is not great but pretty good. There will be more deck pollution such as albatross, so this will be the one of the ways to deal with that. Oh, the stories, don't forget the stories.
Not bad. But I would prefer cheaper demons than buffed. But it would be probably broken.
I actually like this kind of cards, but it looks like a highroll like embdiggen. Imp (demon) deck fit? Too shaky to my taste, but I'll give it a shot for sure.
What does get me is - Start game with this and coin = 5 buffed minions. Start without coin is only 3. That's cruel to someone either way.
Pssssssh. I DO WHAT I WANT.
Seriously, I'll 100% have some kind of zoo-lock deck with this in it, I don't care if it's that great, the randomness will be hilarious.
Random demons will probably be a little bit better than before, because Demon Hunter with big demons is a thing. This card may be at least playable.
I don't see it in use unless Warlock get's stuff like "add 2 x token minions to your hand"
I think there is quite a number of low-cost Demons in the game actually, so it could be alright tempo play. Not enough to overweight RNG risk though, so no constructed probably.
Depends. If some kind of big handlock that uses The Dark Portal comes up, this could be pretty good, since it will let you cut the lower cost minions from the deck to raise the reliability of getting an ideal minion and still have enough threats for winning control match ups.
Play AoE -> Play this card -> play a cheap minion with +2/+2 in an aggro match up, or Replacing your hand full of removal with buffed minions in a control match up could be really good.
Control is even trickier, cause its always a dilemma – do you want to sack your hand for value, or there is some important card, which you can't play right away, but would prefer to have instead of a random demon with +2/+2. There were a number of cards with similar effects, but I don't think they ever saw real play precisely because of that notion.
What???
