This is a good card when there is no board pressure you just invest to future.
YOU HAVE TO PREPARE
Turn 5 - do nothing, turn 6 - do nothing. Turn 7 - you're probably dead.
That's a bit silly. Demon Hunter has very explosive early turns and a lot of cheap ways to control the board with weapons and cards like Twin Slice, Eye Beam, and Illidari Felblade.
Also keep in mind that this can be discounted with Skull of Gul'dan or Raging Felscreamer.
Aldrachi Warblades on 3, Raging Felscreamer on 4, Imprisoned Antaen + Twin Slice + Blade Dance on 5. Stuff like that is totally possible. You can definitely find moments to weave it in, and it forces them to think hard about developing a board.
silly question but does doomsayer clear this?
nope
Very powerful! Only weakness is that sometimes paying 5 mana to do nothing will cause your face to be promptly smashed in by a mech pally or a face hunter. But the pay off is worth the risk, and your opponent's gonna have a hell of a time trying to play around its effect.
...I will say that warrior can counter it pretty hard with stuff like armorsmith and bomb wrangler lol
It has good stats in addition to being balanced because its effect activates on turn 7 but it can attack from turn 8. I see it autoincluded in all Demon Hunter decks.
If u put this card on board then next turn a doomsayer that didnt die he clean the board and this card deal 10 face dmg, dream combo ofc but just saying
Busted Bunny.
This would be a sick card in Recruit / Embiggen Druid.
You have to reduce the cost of either this or the new 2-6 Taunt and play them together in one turn to get ahead just long enough for this to go off and potentially win you the game. As it stands, might be a tad too slow, we'll have to see about upcoming cards and Sets, which might give it the required support.
It's a Demon Hunter card....
I think this might be the imprisoned card with the best chance of seeing play. Sure it's slow, but if you live for two turns, it's an insanely aggressively statted minion doing 10 damage to your opponent's board/face. I could see playing two of these on turn 10 actually being a win condition for a control demon hunter deck.
Back in my day we played 5 mana 4/4 with spell damage +1 and draw a card
And even that had to be Hall-of-fame'd lol
Good old days mate :)
Thankyou for this
What does 'dormant' mean? Can't you just attack/remove it during the two turns it sits on the board doing nothing? Or is it not targetable while dormant?
It's untargetable and can't attack for 2 turns. (probably can't attack right away too)
Can't be interacted with or interact with anything for 2 turns
