Hey, Hey... I don’t play all that much but 6K+ is top 10%!? I’ll take it. 

I think this is pretty skewed. I know I'm good (I play around 7500) but really doubt I'm in the top 1%. Wiuld love to accept the compliment, but do not believe it is accurate.

was in the top 0,01% last week but a long streak of unlucky games got me back to the 0,1% it's getting harder and harder to climb, plus a lot of luck.

 Oh wow, didn't expect to be up there. Just dropped below 9k again with 102 top 1 games.

I've cracked top 3%! I'll take it.

Some bad streaks of anger conceding has dropped me fairly low at times ha.

All videogames with ranked modes should display these in the game. I hate that we NEED these random tweets from developers because the rank/mmr rating in games is unintuitive and misleading. There are plenty of high skilled players in environments like discord or reddit, who claim they are just above average or good, cause they compare themselves with top streamers or don't know better. Which makes the vast majority of players who read that feel bad.

Players who read these communities / posts are probably more invested in the game, resulting in a higher ranking.  

Players who only look in-game are probably less invested in the game, resulting in a lower ranking.

In other words, I’d guess they want to make the ‘good’ players happy without demoralizing the ‘bad’ ones. Assuming that’s something they think about in the first place.

Could not agree more.  Genuinely surprised to learn that 7500 is that good.  Definitely raises my spirits, especially when getting frustrated.  Still room to improve!

Just shows how many people actually play Hearthstone/Battlegrounds and that the vast majority of them plays it less seriously than the people here. Of course, there are also many people who don't play Battlegrounds as much or at all, and they are probably under 5k as well. But I'm sure most of the people on Hearthpwn, who play Battlegrounds are around 6-7k and higher.

according to the tweet, results were based on a min of 5 games played in the last 20 days so it doesn't count the ones that don't play at all. 

I have like 15 active friends, most of which competed in Top 200 Legend each season. Now all I see is X is playing Battlegrounds. I had to wait like 5 days for pack spectate quest when the Brawl appeared.

The mode is fun and fresh, but still has many flaws. Generally IF you have bad start the game is either 1 turn Swoop in T3-4 or you go 7-8. If you start godly you are 101% sure for top 4.

Sure love these battlegrounds updates. Can't get enough of them
