Imagine if in Constructed we had Warrior sitting at a 90% winrate and you'll see the problem.

 But as Blizzard said his high win rate is only in the low rankings. In other words he is a low skill hero, very consistent plan that's hard to mess up, so at lower ranks with general skill lower his consistency increases his win rates.

I dont know how bad you gotta be to fuck up playing him. He's the only character who can safely get a near guaranteed 2nd or 3rd place with a Tier 1 tavern.

There was slightly more potential to 'low roll' and miss all neutrals after the last patch, but it wasn't enough. I could still play Tirion half AFK and finish top pretty much every game I picked him. I kinda wonder if people have been sleeping on Bolvar with him, like obviously everyone knows he was good with Tirion, but I used to power to 4 and roll for him, kinda like how deathwing does with ratpacks right now. Couple of Bolvars with the tier 1 minions you've been buffing all game and its over, and super easy to get as no one else is buying him cause he sucks for everyone else.

 Why do people rip on this team, that produces a game that they enjoy?  I say enjoy, because you obviously play enough to have an opinion on two heroes.  Tirion was absolutely top tier.  The only issue that he saw with this expansion was two tribal T1, making it harder for an early push.  He is still bananas in this patch.  We could argue about it, but stats say he was.  Top tier players say he was.  I don't really matter, but I say he was, too.  Personally, I enjoy Togwaggle and have finished first with her a number of times.  (I honestly don't know when she was removed, but I am assuming the last patch though I don't remember seeing it.)  Not to mention that her hero power is menagerie, which got stronger.  What do I know though, I am just a player who enjoys the game, has a decent rating and doesn't constantly complain that professionals don't know what they are doing.

"I don't care what the stats say" is a pretty good reason to ignore everything else you said. Tirion had an astronomical winrate across hundreds of thousands of games - your anecdotal view of him is literally irrelevant to his position in the meta.
