Balance Changes - Reverting Card Nerfs Soon
In a highly unusual development, Blizzard, through Dean "IksarHS" Ayala, today announced on twitter that they are going to un-nerf several cards, 5 Wild cards, 4 Year of the Raven cards (rotating to Wild), and 1 Year of the Dragon card.
We don't know which cards they will be yet, but since they are drawn from a short list of nerfed cards, there won't be too many options.
Which cards do you want to see un-nerfed?
Quote from Dean "IksarHS" AyalaPlanning on reverting a handful of card nerfs just before the upcoming set rotation.
We’ll share details on exactly what those cards are in the next couple weeks but they currently include 5 Wild cards, 4 Year of the Raven cards (rotating to Wild), and 1 Year of the Dragon card.
Quote from Dean "IksarHS" AyalaSharing thoughts always comes with the risk that things can change, so if those numbers don’t end up being final it was in the name of iteration! I wonder if anyone will guess exactly the right 10 cards
. When the time comes we’ll announce them on official Hearthstone channels.
If I recall correctly first 18 buffs gave you full refund
As Lataberk correctly stated, we got full refund on buffed cards last time...
What are you talking ? We didn't got refunds for the buffs.
"Will there be dust refunds for buffed cards?

I'll be boring and say that they undo the nerfs that would have the least impact:
Wild:
1. Bonemare: I think most decks have better options to consider anyway.
2. Spiteful Summoner: Way more lowrolls possible than we used to have in Standard, and such decks are unlikely to succeed in the format.
3. Call of the Wild: Still "fair" for 8 considering the rest of the format, and maybe they'd like to buff Even Hunter a little (which some people already try thanks to Phase Stalker and Dragonbane).
4. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End: A fan favorite, highly requested, difficult to include actually, and if you want that crazy spell explosion, you should have it. There are more unfair things you can do for 10 mana.
5. Tuskarr Totemic: A random free Totem Golem is probably still really good, but worse than what some decks can do consistently, especially as Shaman.
Year of the Raven:
1. Dr. Boom, Mad Genius: Was arguably too good for Standard, but not for Wild I think.
2. Extra Arms: Same as above.
3. Reckless Experimenter: SN1P-SN4P can't be played for less than 1 anymore anyway, which makes this nerf kinda pointless.
4. Giggling Inventor: Tough call, but there are not many other candidates left, and this would arguably be less impactful than Raiding Party and Luna's Pocket Galaxy.
Year of the Dragon:
Invocation of Frost: Most of the nerfed cards from last year are still used or decent enough, except for the Shaman cards. And with Zentimo leaving, I think this one is the most likely candidate.
Again, this is just what I think will happen, not necessarily what I'd like to see happening. And if they wanted to take this opportunity to shake things up, my picks would be Raza the Chained, Undertaker, The Caverns Below, Call to Arms, Spirit Claws, maybe Raiding Party, and Dragon's Pack. But I think it's safe to assume that they don't want to do high impact changes.
My guess on the Dragons card is Mogu Fleshshaper. It interacts weirdly with Evolve effects, and I'm of the opinion that it's better balanced at 7 mana base than at 9.
i think its best balanced at 5-6 mana, just because of evolve effects. its a disgusting card when evolved, pretty meh without.
The most reasonable and that does not damage the design much or be a strong interaction, my predictions are:
Year of the Dragon
Sludge Slurper
Year of the Raven
Wild
Raza the Chained pls
Imagine they un-nerf Barnes :D
NO GOD! PLEASE NO!!! NOOOOOOOOOO
Give me back my 7 mana Dr. Boom.
Blizzard, #MSGA!

Reckless Experimenter
Extra Arms
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
Luna's Pocket Galaxy
-Sound the Bells!
-Glinda Crowskin

Mogu Fleshshaper
Faceless Corruptor
Sludge Slurper

#BringBackOldYogg
and my guesses are:
Saronite Chain Gang (now that shudderwock is no longer available for standard)
Tuskarr Totemic
Dark Pact
Leeching Poison ((now that there is a possible counter to Kingsbane)
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End
Raiding Party
Reckless Experimenter
Extra Arms
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
Fiendish Rites
Notes:
-Level Up! is also much weaker than [card]Quartermaster[card] but reverting that nerf may cause odd paladin to be too powerful.
I think I forgot
Giggling Inventor
in the possibles list. :D
cant edit my comment again unfortunately
Giggling is from the Year of the Raven, not from wild.
Wild
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End - Isn't such a threat anymore as you have a lot of bad spells like Cataclysm, Myra's Unstable Element.
Call of the Wild - Who cares if It's (1) mana cheaper, right? You will be dead anyways.
The Caverns Below - You will be dead before you complete the quest again, but could be dangerous in the future.
Bonemare - I think the only bad thing about this change would be Odd Paladin, but otherwise I'm all in, I <3 Bonemare.
Saronite Chain Gang - I think Saronite could bring back our favorite Keleseth rogue or Zoo Warlock, also he isn't a threat anymore as you have new Manipulator, Dopplegangster and Shudderwock isn't a problem in wild as the whole combo is really hard to pull off these days.
Raven
Raiding Party - Who cares about wild, right? Anyways, this card is the only clunky one as you just CAN'T un-nerf LPG.
Reckless Experimenter - Doesn't matter as we have echo restriction anyways, so why not.
Extra Arms - Could be interesting with the 2/3 elementals and maybe even the two "targetable" sisters.
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius - In DMH warrior you would probably play Justicar anyways, but could be again a nice addition to Baku warrior or midrange warrior.
Dragon
Necrium Apothecary - The 2 big things that makes this card OP are rotating (Necrium Vial + Necrium Blade), so this card wouldn't be as threathing.
I think Giants to wild and Conjurer's Calling back to 3.
Leeching poison is not gonna be changed. That would violate their idea of class identity now.
Dark pact would be very strong in the current meta, so unlikely. Tuskarr.... they already forgot that card’s experience
I guess giggling, Yogg, spell stone, and the rest I’m too torn :)
