Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but just in case, I'll explain it. Chaos Gazer corrupt a PLAYABLE card in your opponent's hand, so the card that get's corrupted can always be played to avoid being discard.

I make this clear bc I understood that you were saying that your opponents are always able to play the corrupted card and you think it's bc of bad luck. If you weren't saying that, just ignore my comment and wish for a combo meta to come back next year.

Call Chaos Gazer a bad card is the same as say Ooze is crap in a meta with almost zero weapons around.

It is a powerful tech against combo decks, how many combo decks have in this meta? One, only one and is faaaaaar from popularity, of course the Chaos don't will see play, if next expansion bring the archetype a boost then this will change.

I totally agree with whole list, except Chaos Gazer. I don't think it is that bad and it can see play in the future.

I've played it and it's a excellent 3 drop, with possibilities to break your opponent high drops in early game, or break the tempo in late game. Anyways, when it hits a low cost cards it's kinda meh.. still a good 3 drop. 

It literally can't break high drops in early game, it can only land on a playable card.

It's sad to see The Worst cards. None of them are bad cards, it's just that blizzard went nuts with res, face, and zoo that they're just not supported in the current meta.

Why grand lackey is disapointing?
