Just had a perfect game with demons but no weaver or watcher. I had a triple and single soul juggler that carried me.

so tonight, out of 6 games. twice i got second place playing beasts losing against someone with 2 99/99 wraith weavers and  70/70 floater.

the other game i got 3rd losing to a player with slightly less stats than that.

good times.

I don't know why people expected a nerf to kill demon builds. Blizz didn't nerf watcher to kill the build, they nerfed it to lower it's power. You can argue if it worked or not, but that was the reason.  

It's like murlocs. They nerfed murlocs in the past but every game seems at least two or three people still playing them.

its only like 1 in 5 games i see murlocs finish in the top 2

murlocs is because you can easily play normal game, until its just you and 2nd guy left, you could at that point sell every one of your minions, buy 3 of those 2/1 murlocs that spawns 1/1 murloc, play the gentledinosaur when you have 5 with bran or 6 of those and just snowball with the divine,windfury,poisonous murlocs.

Looks like the demon "nerf" didn't do squat. Just played 4 games in a row and demons was in first place every time.

like everyone has been saying, they really need to nerf wraith weaver. Floating watcher doesn't even really matter.

Great nerf, Blizz. 6 of 8 players in my last 2 lobbies still played demons with golden watchers.

Not to mention the mech bonanza. Small indie company, i guess.

They took Watcher to 4 but NOT COBALT?? It's just straight Cobalt meta now. Whoever gets the cobalts first wins the game.

yeah nerfs demons and no the fuking murlocs

Didn't even realize there was a nerf, went demons and easily came in first. Noticed something was up when I discovered a t4 and got watcher 😂. Demons still very good. This is another nerf to afk, but that doesn't really matter as she's still much better than a lot of heros. Buffing weaker heros again would be a nice. They did a decent job with buffs before, hopefully that continues in the future. I'd like to see the battlecry buff a random mob hero(can't remember name lol) back in rotation also. With the new good heros he won't be so overpowered I think. Or maybe he's still just too good 🤔

I was hoping for some kinda buff to beasts. Right now they are by far my 4th option to build into (5th if you include neutral mobs with tirion). Successful beast builds I hardly ever see now also. They are WAY too dependent on the battle going from left to right, each mob dying in order. Things stray from that and you lose. I'm mid 7k rating for reference.

Why does blizzard not feel the need to use patch notes for changes like this?

They really like doing server side patches without updating the client patch notes.

Very disappointing.

Also, I wonder if they are ever going to fix the issue where you can encounter the same opponent every other time. There was a patch a long time ago that said they fixed this to every third time was the soonest but they never actually implemented it?

I heard the nerf went live recently, hows demons doing for you guys now? Could soul jugglers replace watchers?

A buffed wrath weaver without watchers isn't a huge deal though, it's like pre-watcher inclusion demons which sort of sucked.

Oh, so you want Demons to be completely unviable in the game?  Because, this imagined scenario you have where you just go nuts buffing Wrath Weavers to super high levels clearly doesn't take into account the cold hard reality that one hard loss at any point in the game, and you've got next to no chance to make it into the top 3.

The thing is though, most successful "demons" builds don't have that many demons.  They're Wrath Weaver + Floating Watcher and then other stuff with one slot that continually spams and sells demons.  It's not like murlocs where you have murlocs and then you buff the murlocs with murlocs.  You just buff two cards by playing ANY demon over and over.

Incorrect. I have won many top 1st and second place finishes because I had one or two Wrath in the early game buffed with other strong minions in the end game. I mainly lost to other builds who had Watcher when I did or poison minions. Most people still pick Wrath in the beginning since it scales and can easily be buffed by daemons even if you're not playing daemons. A +2 or +4 buff each round for only one damage is huge. People who don't understand this most likely have under a 5K MMR.

It sounds like you just don't like the game.

Maybe you should move on to something else and come back after a break to see if you start enjoying it again.
