Descent of Dragons Meta Decks - Galakrond's Awakening Week 3

We are nearly at the end of Galakrond's Awakening's staggered release, just tomorrow left and we have already seen quite a few meta shake ups since it started. Embiggen Druid mainly, but in the last week Dragon Highlander Hunter has been making a strong push too. The last week of GA introduces some cards to already strong archetypes, like Shotbot so there's a good chance that we see a different Meta situation again when we do this post next week.

On to this week's decks, however:

The Popular Pick

Everyone loves Druid! Embiggen Druid has just the right combination of being strong and being easy to play that it has seen massive popularity on the ladder. That does not make it the best deck however, but it's successful enough against most decks that it's a good enough pick for most people that want a strong deck. Token Druid remains strong too.

Every Deck is a Hunter Deck

It's unusual for a class to have more than 1 or 2 successful decks. Hunter currently has at least 5, not counting Beast Hunter or Mech Hunter, which are distinct archetypes too. We are not going to list all the Hunter decks, but we picked out the 3 that have not been featured much yet.

By the Holy Light

We have been singing its praises here for a while, and its populairty is going up, but it's still not as popular as it should be: Mech Paladin. That's not the only Paladin deck doing well however. There's also been the miraculous comeback of Murloc Paladin, with Tip the Scales and the new Scalelord. MrggllMrggllMrggll.
