Battlegrounds - Possible Demon Tribe Changes Coming
Blizzard just posted a one liner about changes being in the pipeline to adress concerns people are having about the strength of Demons in Battlegrounds.
Reddit user IAmBryanCranston asked "Are there any plans to look over Demons in Battlegrounds? Currently they feel a bit too strong. Cheers"
Community Manager Chris Attalus answered the question with the following:

Maybe also give an incentive to level to tier 6, on leveling to tier 6 offer a choice of 3 passive options like (return 4 hp to your hero at the end of every round, your minions get + 1 hp at the end of every round, see the order of the minions of your next opponent or the comp of the top hero in the lobby).
Healing can NEVER be added, since it adds the possibility of games going on forever.
You can drop the hp gain to 2 per turn and make it that the last 2 in the lobby have 5 turns to win, highest hp wins or it just ends in a draw. So much ways to tweak and balance this idea.
Maybe at this point try balancing the game around the heroes and not the tribes, if every hero has a competitive hero power that revolves other mechanics of the game that are not demons and every unit in the game scales differently based on hero, then every lobby wont be "demon build" focused. Also rotate heroes more often, revert some of the hero nerfs "stitches" and try introducing more tribes.
Unnerf lightfang also, it was broken cause of almagam, now it's just very bad.

Pair the demon changes with a move of Cobalt to tier 4. Beasts are worthless.
Juggler is really powerful, but he isn't common in endgame builds. He is a strong midrange minion that you utilize and then sell. Exactly as it should be.
Moving Watcher to 4 would really help, because currently, having Watcher at 3 allows at least four players to comfortably go demons. I don't think that demons are totally broken, but facing demon comp every match-up when you can't compete feels really demoralizing. The idea with any draft or battler style is that you can't go one direction because other people are as well and you have to compete with them. With your two power cards being 1 and 3 it allows all 8 players to go demons and cycle the buff cards. Which is silly.
I wish they would do more frequent changes, like in the beginning of beta. Even small changes keep game fresh, unlike now, 2 months with Floating Watcher and still no change...
If they nerf demons then mechs will be meta again. Cobalt needs to go a tier higher.
I kinda agree but maybe just 1 health or 1 damage less would be enough

Make it more susceptible to tokens/juggles/bombs or make it less interesting requiring more mech buff minions to support.
Change Wrath Weaver to 1/2 that gains +2/+0 per demon, that way it becomes a gimped Micro Machine you keep only to buff Floating Watcher. And it actually turns into garbage you want to discard in mid-late game which should be the case for all tier 1 minions.
1/1 that gains +1/+1 is the obvious fix, if you ask me. Golden gains +2/+2. Cuts endgame stats in half.
I'll kindly disagree as I think growing health is the main issue because once it gets huge enough you will never want to cut it, even if it ends up snowballing a bit slower.
Core issue of demons is you don't actually develop board or look for good minions, you just mindlessly cycle through whatever demons you get to buff weavers/watcher. Only obstacle being need of Mal'ganis once you hit 1 hp - but then cycling continues because you still grow your weavers. If their hp didn't grow maybe demons would be more dependent on finding their 5 stars to close the game. Right now it's common to sell Soul Jugglers to make space for more weaver/watchers, even though Juggler itself is deemed overpowered.

Poison is the first thing that needs some work. While that exists, everything else has to be broken as well or it won't see play.
I believe poison should only be limited to minion that already have it, like Maexxna or the snake from Alakazarmax(whatever is called) secret, maybe they could add a couple more for no tag or the other tags
That seems like a pretty good sollution. I think we can all at least agree that Gentle Megasour giving 6 minions poison (which is essentially just infinite attack) is a little too much of the good stuff.

This 1/1 divine shield poisonous fishy will likely lose you the game, you have to be blessed to hit murlocs
Demons on the other hand, "ohh look a wrathweaver turn 1, guess ill just buy every demon and place top 4, PRO"
