Hearthstone Wins Best Mobile Game of the Year - The Game Awards 2014
Eric Dodds was present this evening at the inaugural Game Awards to accept the award for Best Mobile / Handheld Game of the Year! Other games in the category were Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Monument Valley, Bravely Default, and Threes! Congratulations to the Hearthstone team!
Warsong Commander Bugged
Rolkyr stated on the official forums this afternoon that Warsong Commander is indeed bugged. He is still looking into clarification on the current intentions of the commander, and hopefully we'll have an update to share soon.

It is currently bugged now. As to how it should be working when the bug is fixed, for each interaction, I am having that discussion now with Dev. Just making sure there are no intended changes or what not. I will let you all know what I get all info together.

Posted Dec 7, 2014 (GvG Prelaunch)So the first two decks we get spotlighted are just tweaks to arguably the two most overused deck types in the current meta? I suppose that's fine for the non creative crowd but I admit I was hoping for something newer and interesting and not ' take the annoying decks and shoehorn in a few new things to make them more annoying'.

Posted Dec 6, 2014 (GvG Prelaunch)It was actually best Mobile/Handheld game of the year. It was up against Bravely Default, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Monument Valley, and Threes!.
What was actually more impressive than that, though, was that it was nominated for Game of the Year, alongside Dragon Age Inquisition, Bayonetta 2, Dark Souls II, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Quite a feat, even though It didn't win.
Though, I think it's hard to deny that EA probably bought the win for Dragon Age, given how recently it was released and the relative lack of buzz compared to other games this year. And, of course, the entire Game Awards show was undeniably a big PR circle jerk. It was more about talking up brands and showing trailers than it was about giving out awards.
