Rules:
Celebrate the Lunar New Year! Choose a class and get a random deck, choose an animal to receive its blessing and power!
This is a special Lunar New Year Brawl, where you get to pick from several random blessings to augment your game. We posted all the different blessings at the bottom of this article!

We’re stringing the lights to kick off the Lunar New Year in style! Beginning January 29th, the tavern will celebrate with a new Tavern Brawl, themed quests, and rewards!
New Tavern Brawl: Lunar Blessings
Good fortune is coming your way this Lunar New Year! In this Tavern Brawl, you’ll start by choosing a class, and you’ll be given a random deck. Each class also has the choice between three different Blessings: buffs that will carry into your game and give you an advantage. You’ll have to choose wisely to find the right animal to best support your strategy.
Quests and Rewards
During the event, you’ll also have the opportunity to complete eight different special themed quests, each one rewarding both gold and dust! These also start January 29th, so don’t miss out!
Be sure to give your opponents a festive greeting with Lunar New Year emotes! The Lunar New Year Event will run from January 29th to February 12th.

Rogue = rooster, snake, tiger
Priest = pig, sheep, rooster
Warrior = ox, pig, rooster
Paladin = dragon, tiger, dog
Shaman = monkey, rat, sheep
Mage = dragon, pig, horse
Hunter = horse, rabbit, dog
Druid = monkey, snake, dog
Warlock = rat, ox, rabbit

Posted Jan 30, 2020 (GA Week 2)oh u know what, are u not NA? i bet it's randomized by region like the decks they did with the brawl where u took ur opponents deck if u lost and that one pirate warrior deck with a bunch of patches was dominating but had a different number at the end but was still called "mercenaries"

Posted Jan 30, 2020 (GA Week 2)All classes are fun if you understand unique strengths of the deck. Pay attention to your starting cards and pick appropriate blessing. In your case, where you're given many large/beefy minions, sheep (heal for 3 each turn) might be decent. The couple times I played Shaman, I was given a token-heavy deck (goes well with reborn blessing) and a battlecry-based deck (goes well with monkey/evolve blessing).

Posted Jan 29, 2020 (GA Week 2)7 health Frothing, which went up to 9 damage and then a 5 health Zilliax, when I only had a weenie board = concede and try again.
There's other good combos though, not just Warrior. I had several wins as a Mage going with coin when you play a minion. Gets out of hand quickly.

Posted Jan 29, 2020 (GA Week 2)From the brawls i played i got the impression that the 3 animal blessings are always the same for a given class. (Please confirm, if you can)
For Priest i recommend Blessing of the Pig (coin for minion played): 3 wins in 3 games.
For Shaman i recommend Blessing of the Monkey (evolve a minion at end of turn): 6 wins out of 6 games.

Posted Jan 29, 2020 (GA Week 2)I just rerolled my normal daily quest and got the special event quest! I feel robbed because normally you keep your daily quest and a event quest would just appear next to it when it releases. I had to fucken reroll!
