The Battle of Good vs Evil - Hearthstone Decks Edition
The Battle of Good vs Evil - Hearthstone Decks Edition
Next week we will have to start making our final choice about who wins the battle between Good and Evil, League of Explorers vs League of E.V.I.L. in the Galakrond's Awakening adventure. We decided that to kick off that battle (and to help you decide if you are still on the fence) it might be a good idea to start with a look at what each member of each league actually brings to the table. So we looked for Decks that featured their associated cards, and present them here to you. Pick your favorite deck and you will perhaps be better able to pick who's side you are in in this epic struggle.
"But wait, there's 5 Evil decks and only 4 Good decks, that's not fair" I hear you say. Well yes. What part about EVIL did you not get, of course they are cheating! There's also this to consider: Is Rafaam really on the side of EVIL? is Rafaam really on anyone's side except Rafaam's side? Are the chances really any better for the League of E.V.I.L. to not get bamboozeled or stabbed in the back by Rafaam? I think not. Perhaps we should have made this article "The Battle of Good vs Evil vs Rafaam" but that just doesn't sound as good, you know?
Let us know in the comments who's deck you picked and who's side you are on!
League of Explorers
League of E.V.I.L.
There you have it, pick carefully and let us know in the comments who's deck you picked and who's side you are on! We will see you in Galakrond's Awakening!
Galakrond's Awakening Card List & Guide
is that official decks for adventure?
Looking at this from a wild player's perspective, league of explorers has mechbuff pally as well as 3 different mage variants (quest highlander, secrets, and normal time warp, in order of current relevance).
Evil has cubelock, mecha'thun warlock, pirate warrior, aggro rogue as of lately (because necrium apothecary is broken), odd rogue, even shaman, and quest shaman (I would personally include APM priest as well, but given nobody really plays it, I'll leave it out of this comparison).
From a perspective of playable classes, the score is 2-4 in evil's favor. Mage has the two best decks in the game rn, but one solid player can't save an otherwise mediocre team. Likewise, almost all of evil's classes have at least one viable deck, several of which can edge out at least one of the top two mage decks. As such, I'm inclined to root for evil here.
King Togwaggle
The Sir Finley of the Sands - Making Mummies synergy is on a whole other level
Dr Boom has Dr Boom and Dr Boom but not Dr Boom.
Even Blizzard thinks the priest Galakrond sucks and did not give it to Lazul...
Obviously Rafaam is the only correct choice, supreme archaeologist, Arch-Villain and in my my opinion most fabulous man alive.
RAFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!Deck wise, the League of E.V.I.L. has this in the bag.
Flavor wise, E.V.I.L. has it in the bag. The only interesting Explorer is Elise.
Realistically speaking, E.V.I.L. has it. They've so far stolen the entire city of Dalaran, despite herculean efforts to defend it.... have driven the damn thing all over Azeroth as they please without anyone being able to stop them... and are now about to awaken the HBIC (head bitch in charge) and ROFLstomp a mud hole in everyone's ass and then walk that sumbitch dry.
If Rafaam betrays EVIL, I’m going to be mad this article spoiled the story.
Evil...stupid league doesn't have Galakrond HAHAHAHA SUCKS TO BE A NON GALAKROND CLASS, RIGHT GUYS? :D :D :D
