Goblins vs Gnomes: 61 New Cards
Blizzard released the remaining collectible cards for the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion on the Hearthstone Facebook page. We've added all the cards to our card database, and have all the new cards on display below. You can use our deckbuilder to create decks using all the new cards, or view all the GvG cards on our dedicated page.
This brings the total number of GvG cards up to 134 (including tokens). There are definitely some token cards still missing, but we're looking at the full set of collectible cards if Zeriyah speaks the truth which she says this is the last wave of cards.

Upcoming Balance Changes
Quote from BlizzardDuring the development of Goblins vs Gnomes, we kept an eye on the state of game balance as more Hearthstone matches were played with the new cards we introduced with Curse of Naxxramas. After careful consideration we have decided to make balance changes to the following cards: Soulfire (Warlock), Gadgetzan Auctioneer (Neutral), and Flare (Hunter)
The following balance changes will be made in an upcoming patch:
- Soulfire now costs 1 (up from 0)
- Soulfire, along with fast and powerful minions, allowed Warlock rush decks to get ahead on the board and stay ahead. We’ve upped Soulfire’s mana cost by 1 to slow down the Warlock rush deck just a bit and allow more players time to react and interact against the Warlock.
- Gadgetzan Auctioneer now costs 6 (up from 5)
- Gadgetzan Auctioneer’s ability allows for a player to potentially draw many cards for little cost. Card draw and card advantage are important to the game—overall, games are less interesting when a player draws their entire deck. This change brings Gadgetzan Auctioneer’s cost more in line with its power level.
- Flare now costs 2 (up from 1)
- Flare allowed the Hunter an advantage versus decks that revolve around Secrets, while also allowing the Hunter to draw a card for little cost. We want to encourage a variety of decks in Hearthstone. With this change, Flare will continue to be useful against decks playing Secrets, but will be weaker against other decks
We will continue to make balance changes to Hearthstone when we feel they are necessary in order to increase the variety of cards seen at all levels of play, with the goal of making Hearthstone a more fun and interactive game for everyone.
Goblins vs Gnomes Information & Cards
We've launched a dedicated page for Goblins vs Gnomes which contains information on the expansion and has lists of all the new cards we've seen.
good job overall !
Great cards, now let us play with them.
GUYS - Shaman was just given a Fiery War Axe. With a Buffing Deathrattle. O-O
Omg I'd been trying to figure out what class that weapon belonged to, thought it was mage lol. But omg you're right, it's a 3 mana fiery war axe with a very nice deathrattle. Although I was hoping for another card that interacted with deathrattle, I can't complain about that weapon.
Now all that's left is our legendary, wonder what it's going to be. Also, considering the last time we got a big card dump naxx launched a few days later, does this mean GvG is launching soon?
These balances and new cards make me hyped for GvG! Release already! :D
Well it's a 7 mana card so it has to do something other than just die to shield slam. I think that's fair. Barongeddon does 2 damage to the everyone, dr. boom summons 2 1/1 that do damage to enemies, if this just had the trogg ability of +x attack it wouldn't be very good.
It would be nice but since the spawn effect triggers after the spell is cast, the Trogg technically isn't on the board when the spell is played and shouldn't be buffed.
Definitely think it's one of the more powerful cards announced in the set. It basically has an immediate impact because as you said removal will activate it.
Well its a good thing I went ahead and got to rank 18 before this bomb hit.
Hopefully a larger variety of decks surface!
Sorry but wtf is wrong with Cobra Shot's artwork? So low quality that it looks like a fun card that each of us created once in a while.
It's old WoW TCG art, like a lot of the cards that are currently in the game.
Lol, well priest needed something to help them in that match-up. Least now handlock can't just drop 7 molten giants in one turn and laugh their way to victory. This should make that match-up more interesting.
I love the idea of a big booty deck + lighbomb. Kill off most of the opposition and your 1/7s, 2/7s, etc all live on.
Never mind...
Grove Tender... Can someone explain me the real point behind that card?
Stats aren't impressive enough and whatever you choose it affects both players...
Like all things which affect both players, you need to come up with ways to use the mechanic more effectively than your opponent.
The obvious way is in ramp, where you can have a higher curve than your opponent and thus use the mana more effectively (potentially).
I agree but 2/4 isn't that much of a threat... Outside of a ramp deck where you would play this over BGH, Earthen Ring Farseer or Shade of Naxxramas i don't see how it's worth the trouble to help your opponent as well.
I might reconsider when the whole meta is here but at first glance i'm not onboard with it!
Yeah... and yet I almost want to play just because of the art!
This reveal makes me think that GvG is coming very soon, I assume next Tuesday (assuming that the expansion comes out on a maintenance day).
Won't work. Hobgoblin works with played minions, not summoned minions.
