Balance Changes Coming - More Details Next Week
Blizzard, through Dean Ayala, a.k.a. IskarHS, tweeted out upcoming balance changes that they will share more information about next week. Read about it below where we quoted the tweet he sent.
Quote from BlizzardPlanning another balance patch. Will share some more information next week as we solidify.
Some of the Galakrond decks are just a touch more powerful than they need to be to be successful.
Also contemplating light changes to non-Galakrond archetypes like Pirate War and DR Rogue.
As long as they hit Galakrond zoo warlock hard, ill be pleased.
I dunno what they expected when they printed Apothecary and Ancharr because clearly they are very strong. However I don't think Pirate Warrior needs a nerf but Deathrattle Rogue certainly does as it's very strong in both standard and wild. Galakrond Rogue and Shaman in standard definitely need a nerf.
Warrior player spotted. Or priest, since Highlander Rogue sh*ts on res priest.
Damn right I am. Gotta punish those Rogues and Face decks running amuck.
Yeah the shaman Galakrond battlecry is so broken. Even though it isn’t tier 1 it’s such a high roll deck.
Yay, more dust.
Please remove Rafaam from Battlegrounds.
thanks,
Rafaam got nerfed with coldlight seer being moved to tier 3. he was mainly good with murlocs and subpar with everything else except demons which EVERYONE goes demons and is hard to compete. I think Rafaam is fine where hes at. Yogg needs nerfed, his ability should cost 3.
I think it's bad for the game to have one hero who disproportionately benefits from the play of others in the lobby. Poor minion placement should affect you and your opponents' life totals, not the overall strength of one player for the rest of the game.
It is only a few days before they are supposed to release another 35 cards and adventure cards have always been meta defining.
Don't really get this at all. Too many nerfs will make no one happy and change is about to come anyways.
Adventure cards? Where have you been last few years? They stopped doing that a while ago.
Eh no there is a new 35 card solo adventure coming
Plot twist: Blizzard's reading this thread to know what to nerf.
@blizzard, Plot Twist is not the problem!
LMAO
There are so many wrong things with this post that I don't even know where I should start.
With them making changes so often it makes me wonder if they have ever really tested all those Galakronds at all. Basically we have been beta testing this expansion since its release and it has yet to be over.
They can get feedback this way as well (assuming they care) about what people think about certain decks. Also, there is a chance that even they don't know what exactly are they planning to do, but they want to calm the playerbase down. Just guessing though, couldn't think of any other rational explanation.
While I welcome Blizzard's attempt to take action on a more timely fashion, I wonder why they feel the need to tease balance changes rather than just stating clearly what they intend to do. What's the point? Why not suggest changes and let the community respond? Why engender pointless speculation?
So people don't leave the game.
