Descent of Dragons Meta Decks - Best of 2020
The Best Decks of 2020....for now. Blizzard has already announced that Balance Changes are coming, specifically mentioning Galakrond decks, Pirate Warrior and Deathrattle Rogue. We will see how potent these changes might turn out to be, but it's pretty clear that we might be looking at a very different Meta soon.
On to the decks!
Take What You Can, Give Nothing Back
It's still a fast Meta and Pirate Warrior remains among the top options until the announced Balance Changes come through.

Even Dragons Have Their Endings
Blizzard apparently deems the Galakrond decks "A touch more powerful than they need to be successful" which makes some sense, with how prevalent they are. Here's the ones doing especially well in the current Meta:

Wilhelm Screaming Intensifies
One of the decks mentioned in the Balance Changes tweet, but definitely a high roll deck that does not always work out well.

Shhhhh, I'm Hunting DWAGONS
Hunter is still well represented in the Meta and, importantly, not mentioned in any nerf debates. They could be a strong contender to emerge from the next Balance Changes as the top deck.

Arise, My Champion, Arise!
We are not quite sure why Resurrect Priest was not mentioned in the Balance Changes tweet, when it's clearly been a powerful deck and was powerful in the Saviors of Uldum Meta too at some point, in much the same form.

The Fast and the Furious
The "miscellaneous" category of this article, these decks have little in common, apart from relying on small minions and being strong in the current meta.

Any swaps for Micro Mummy?
No love for embiggen druid again
It is stomp by aggro, need insanely high rolls to have a chance vs control and is easily outvalued by any Galakrond decks.
The devs rips Jaina's so badly she have nothing left.
Strong 1 mana drop like warrior, rogue or shaman? No, they nerfed Wyrm to the ground.
A powerful quest to have good chances vs control? No, she have one of the weakest quest, maybe only the warrior one is worst.
A hero card can give a fighting chance? No, she can't have a single one at the same time some classes have the luxury of two.
All left is a half assed highlander deck you need massive luck from all random effects to have a minimal chance vs much more consistent, powerful, reliable broken cards from other classes.
Why Blizzard hate mage so much is something I can't understand.
with galakrond in charge warrior's quest is good af compared to the mage one that is so FU**ING bad
The Mage Quest in my opinion is actually a downgrade on the hero power, deal 1 damage is way better than add a random mage spell to your hand, most random mage spells are terrible.
At least the Warrior Quest is actually moving the Warrior towards a win condition, the mage quest doesn't do any of that at all.
No mention of highlander mage? Thought it is doing pretty ok.
