Descent of Dragons Meta Decks - The Best Post Nerf Ladder Decks
Exactly a week ago we warned to not craft a Shaman deck, because Blizzard tends to overreact when they nerf things. Welp. Not so this time around. There's actually an argument to be made that the nerfs weren't enough to change the meta from what it was last week when Shaman was still close to 60% winrate.
Some things have changed however. Shaman came down a little, other decks got a little more breathing space. The meta is still very fast however, which is reflected in the decks on show today.
We tried very hard to include every class, but it's not a "Top Decks" post if one of the decks has a below 50% winrate. And so Mage did not make the cut and Paladin only barely did so. Maybe both classes can get some card buffs in the near future to help them.
On to the decks!

In with the new boss, same as the old boss. It's less dominant now, but Galakrond Shaman is still shaping the meta.

The Unusual Suspects
Priest and Paladin were both written off as "dead" in the first week of the expansion, but it seems their deaths have been greatly exagerated. Priest especially has made a strong showing of late, feasting on Pirate Warriors and especially Face Hunters. Pure Paladin is having a harder time, but there's a good chance the decklist for it is not yet optimized, given it is a totally new archetype.

Also I'm recommending to add one copy of Necrium Vial into Deathrattle Rogue, otherwise you may sometimes have troubles with value plays,

- 70 awesome, creative, spicy control cards
- 50 arena / pack fillers
- 10 stupidly, stupidly, stupidly broken tempo cards
> Result: Everyone playing Playing Tempo Shaman, Pirate Warrior or face Hunter, for the third year or so in a row. Another round of rock-paper-scissor games of who can find lethal before turn 2 or whatever. I really thought Descent of Dragons would finally be different but I guess it's not. Im done.

If you dont like the meta in Standard play wild. There are 1000 of decks playeble and no probs with only rush stuff.
If you like play Rush, play Control, play fu**ng Albatross if you like and if youre skilled reach legend.
I hate people crying about the game while playing standard. Sure if there are only 3-6 sets you could only build easy uncomplicated decks. If you are bored of that than play wild.

i have 200 friends i leech off their 80 gold challenge of.... and u know what? DOD had all the hype 60/200 only often then THEN THEN cuz of their gross incompetence i'm getting like 20 people on average outta 200 to play the game now i have to delete so many people off my friends list and it's just sad how they have a great thing but they fail to DO ANYTHING PROPERLY it's actually sad i don't get it i'm from down under so i'm a straight shooter i didn't know but i heard from my US friends that incompetence in lazy corporations is very common what a world we live in! what a wonderful world!
