underwhelming. and my biggest issue with Faceless Corruptor is that it has RUSH. 4/4 without Rush at 5 i'd be okay with. or if you really wanna have the rush then have them be 4/2 at 5 so that it can act as removal for more minion based decks that way it wouldn't stay on board most of the time because of 2 health
For those wondering why these nerfs, it's obvious. They are all rare cards. Less dust for all.
Well, at least about +3500 dust for me due to few extra Goldens and 10+ extra rares.
Cool, Mogu buff. Kappa
Nice nerf of early game of Galakrond Shaman... But...
Fellow warrior rejoice. Our nemesis will get nerf on which we had wait. Now is meta ours!
(So from my view of point, Galakrond will be just replaced by warrior. But at least we will not see top 40 decks by winrate from one archetype. But still clearly dominant for constructed. On the other hand, for competetive play it looks good, as it will give more reason to take consistent control decks.)
Oh i forget there will be still pretty hard counter overload shaman. So maybe it will be not this bad.
No changes to dethrattle rogue? Great...
Great, useless nerfs again
That's it!? No other classes visited? No attempt to help Priest in Standard? Sigh.
Seems it will stay tier 1, but not 60% as before.
Gotta be like 52-54% like face-huntard.
I was hoping for a small change to the Shaman Galakrond package other than the Corrupt Elementalist. the constant 2/1's with Rush are a huge deal when it comes to board control and tempo.
Well no dust under the Xmas tree...
So much negativity... And there are so many delusional people that think nerfing the Galakrond card would solve everything.
I've been hardstuck in rank 2 for over 60 games playing those shaman decks while facing other shamans, and I can tell you its not that single card that is the problem. It is all about getting the first four invokes to pull off Galakrond or either snowball the opponent with early evolve. It's a tempo strategy used against most other decks as well. After the nerfs, fully invoked Galakrond obviously takes longer to pull off, and with the other cards being nerfed, it will be possible for other decks to compete for the early/mid game.
And for those who think Mogu Fleshshaper was a buff. No its not. Now it gets even easier to play around it.
Thank you again Blizzard, for nerfing the right Cards!
Actualy, for overload shaman it is buff.
Good balances imo. I personally like them. Now we just need Kronx to read "cant be shuffled into your deck" haha.
Is it fool's day ?? :'(
Im just waiting for the adventure.. :/
Can't wait for the second wave of nerfs
Wow... blizzard really don't listen to the community... I think almost all the nerfs suggested would be much better than this one.
Galakrond final form + Shudderwock IS NOT FUN TO PLAY AGAINST and Shaman will still be able to do that.
NOBODY was complaining about Sludge Slurper. WTF?
And faceless corruptor is still very OP as 4/4. Many ppl were suggesting a 7 mana cost nerf (i think 6 mana will ok, but the card would still be very good at 6).
Really... balance team of Hearthstone is terrible.
I feel like you are underestimating these changes.
To me the problem with Shaman in this meta is the fact that they can summon 2 8/8s on turn 7/8 consistently, not the fact that they can summon 2 8/8. If it happened as 4/4s, or they had to wait until 9/10 mana it wouln't be oppresive.
So nerfing the busted invoke cards they have is the correct move, they can't really "fix" their Galakrond without messing with the flavor of the card (other classes), but as they can invoke x2 and also their Invoke is tempo oriented it's not fair
Also I don't think the Faceless change is enough, they still can trade 1/1 with a giant and that's just not ok.
And when looking at the Fleshaper I've seen people complaining that now it can mutate into Colossus of the Moon. Really? Is that really your concern? Maybe think it is now way more difficult to be played in the first place. Sometimes I feel like we just like complaining no matter what they do.
