Quote from BlizzardHey everyone!
The 16.0.5 balance update for Hearthstone will be going live tomorrow. Below are the included changes, and as always, we’ll be evaluating the results of these changes over the coming weeks and look forward to your feedback!
Corrupt Elementalist

Sludge Slurper
Now has 1 Attack (down from 2).
Faceless Corruptor
Now has 4 Attack (down from 5).
Mogu Fleshshaper
Now costs 9 Mana (up from 7).
*Once these changes are live, players will be able to disenchant the adjusted cards for their full Arcane Dust value for two weeks.
Battlegrounds:
The Boogeymonster
Moved from Tavern Tier 5 to Tavern Tier 4 .
Mechano-Egg
Moved from Tavern Tier 5 to Tavern Tier 4.
The Beast
Moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 3 .
Coldlight Seer
Moved from Tavern Tier 2 to Tavern Tier 3 .
Primalfin Lookout (changed last week)
Moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 5 .
Nightmare Amalgam
Has been removed from the pool of available minions.
Brann Bronzebeard
Has been removed from the pool of available heroes.
Bartendotron
Has been added to the pool of available heroes.
battleground changes look ok, ending the race for the most poisonous minions is a good move imo.
Removing Amalgam from Battlegrounds? Wow, that's by far the biggest change in Battlegrounds yet, Amalgam was by far the single best minion. I would've suggested to bump it all the way up to tier 4, didn't really expect them to remove it. I like it though.
Too bad Kobalt still got no nerf, maybe next time.
More like tier 6, as it worked well in every set up and you would in the best run 2 even if you got chance upgrade.
a lot of cards got substantially worse with the removal of amalgam. i love it. u finally have to get to tier 6 or use murlocs to get the poisonous effet
This wont change anything.. lets boycot hs..
Wow.. "nerfs" on rare cards.. I'm so surprise
So instead of nerfing a quest that can be completed on turn 4 they nerf the minions attacks and costs. Blizzard plz
Just take aggro and show him you can kill him on turn 4.
They really left the Quest, Dragons Pack, and Galakrond untouched. I don't really know what to say.
You do know what to say, this is bullshit. The game is unfun and I spent nearly $150 on preorders to have some the least fun I've ever had because Shaman and Rogue is too strong and my favorite classes (Priest and Paladin) are too fucking weak. Not to mention I am sick and tiered of seeing Faceless Corruptor in every deck, even I am running it in decks that have no synergy with it because it's SO GOOD of a card you feel stupid for not running it. They won't have my money again,
if you are willing to spend a little more money i suggest you check out : It lurks below, it's an amazing game made by diablo's I and II designer, it might not be a cad game but it's really fun.
Though I'm not really satisfied by the nerfs, I commend them for acting quickly. Maybe Blizz is being prudent. I'd rather see swift course corrections (maybe they make another if Shaman is still pushing 60% win rates). Let's see what the deck looks like now.
Should have just made Shudder work with only minion battlecries...
Pretty tame nerfs, nothing reeeeeally changed. Also Deathrattle Rogue is still pretty strong too
the slurper nerf is decent but this won‘t change the meta at all.
Dragons Pack not being adressed is just so disappointing. the devs seem to have a problem with 1 mana 2/1 but not with 5 mana 10/12 taunt.
also necrium apothecary not being nerfed is a joke.
welp, at least battlegrounds looks interesting.
Just switch shaman and priest galakronds.
Lmao at these "rare" nerfs.
Cool blizzard
Quest Shaman is still good
And BG will lost some cool cards
Corrupt Elementalist is still strong enough to put Shaman above any other class in terms of Invocations.
Sludge Slurper wasn't part of the problem.
Faceless Corruptor is still way too strong.
Mogu Fleshshaper is a little slower, but now has the potential to evolve into Colossus of the Moon.
Thanks Blizz, good stuff. Can't help but notice that none of the legendary cards that are actually causing the problems, like Shudderwock or Corrupt the Waters, were nerfed. But I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
Shudderwock should have been HoF'd a long time ago. They adressed none of the core problems really, just some mana changes. The internal synergy between Invoke and battlecries, the board control provided by the rush tokens and the board presence by the 5/6 Wolves and the 8/8s is still terribly OP
