Descent of Dragons Balance Changes Announced - Battlegrounds Changes too!
Blizzard just announced the Balance Changes coming tomorrow, it includes some Shaman changes we have been waiting for, but also some changes to Battlegrounds! Read all about it below!

Corrupt Elementalist
Now costs 6 Mana (up from 5).
Sludge Slurper
Now has 1 Attack (down from 2).
Faceless Corruptor
Now has 4 Attack (down from 5).
Mogu Fleshshaper
Now costs 9 Mana (up from 7).
*Once these changes are live, players will be able to disenchant the adjusted cards for their full Arcane Dust value for two weeks.
Battlegrounds:
The Boogeymonster
Moved from Tavern Tier 5 to Tavern Tier 4 .
Mechano-Egg
Moved from Tavern Tier 5 to Tavern Tier 4.
The Beast
Moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 3 .
Coldlight Seer
Moved from Tavern Tier 2 to Tavern Tier 3 .
Primalfin Lookout (changed last week)
Moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 5 .
Nightmare Amalgam
Has been removed from the pool of available minions.
Brann Bronzebeard
Has been removed from the pool of available heroes.
Bartendotron
Has been added to the pool of available heroes.

i had the best expectations about this expansion, but now i just cant believe what i’m seeing
they are literally killing the game with this dumbass face/shaman meta
i had no urge to play ladder on day 2, and i have no urge to play ladder now.
after these “nerfs” the only thing i feel is that team 5 needs to be fired

Each is a 1/13 (~7.7%) chance. I don't know how that compares to the 8-drop population in general, but what I can see: 10 out of these 13 cards (77%) will end the game quickly if not dealt with.
Here's the 8-drop population in roughly ascending order (and may or may not be missing a few entries):
Overall the 10-drop pool has mostly beaters, with less variance in stats and effects but generally bigger bodies, also it includes no Charges or Rushes and only one Taunt.

Well you're right my mistake,but the main issue is here 2x2/1 with rush is far too powerful,I believe in the future we will see some changes about that rush elementals if not that's really bad not because of they're not getting nerfed but because of there's something powerful than that.

Damn, you're leading a crusade against poor people, it's the second time you call them out in 10 minutes. What is it they did to you? Just how bad did they hurt you? Let it all out.
Perhaps it would have been too difficult to implement but I think a good change would be for mana changes to be inherited by the card regardless of where the card is and even after play (i.e. a 1 mana Mogu is 1 mana on the board- evolve gives a 2 mana minion). There have been plenty of cheesy interactions as a result of funky mana costs and most of the time they just feel rubbish to play against - looking at you Shirvallah and Conjurer's calling!

I like the Changes, opens up for aggro, delaying Shamans power plays!
Curious to see if more refined aggro-lists can help to suppress the Deathrattle Rogues as well. That deck isn't very fun to play against so I hope that it does!

Corrupt Elementalist 1 Mana nerf is not enough,they should have made it 5 Mana 3/5 Invoke Once

Galakrond, the Tempest The real problem lies here,Powerful battlecry even more powerful with Shudderwock and the best Invoke mechanic 2/1 Rush,I still say 1/2 Rush and 1/1 - 3/3 - 6/6 is the solution to this card
Dragons Pack Why should they nerf 5 mana 10/12 anyway?

The Shaman Galakrond was not the problem imo. It was the early impact that made it broken. Quest Galakrond was not really a big threat because it was already a slow deck. But the other Galakrond deck was just way to tempo pased, and there was nothing really to do against it.
Problem is Shudderwock. He should only copy battlecries from minions. Right now when you play him, he summons those giant 8/8 minions again.
Problem kind of his Galakrond imo. He has the best battlecry among any of the other Galakronds - immediate board advantage/tempo swing. On top of that, he's in the only class that can repeat previously played battlecries...
How about start off with just removing the entire evolve mechanic... There's a freakin 4 mana 8/8 and a 8 mana 12/12 now ffs.
I remember when Piloted Shredder got a lot of shit for having too much RNG. Please bring back those simpler days.
