This is the only bad legendary along with the legendarys Shaman
Treant tokens are used in aggro decks, this is very slow but goes well in curve with the card that summon 5 treants of cost 8

the +1/+1 gonna help out alot for later game so your treants wont be whiped as easely or can become 4/4 buffed to avoid certain 3 dmg aeo attacks. at the very least without this card treant decks are not gonna work i think and more and more cards added that help u spawn cheap treants

Well my vote is that the other Druid Legendary is a little bit better. What do you guys thinks? Opinions?!?

druids might get a little more treant support this expansion , we have what 3 cards from druid not revealed , hopefully one of them will justify this card.

Treant decks which saw that much support and never seen any play :).

It’s so damn slow.  The only impactful treat card at that stage of the game is The forest’s aid.  I suppose you could try for a late game token deck but would it really be effective?  Even if you doubled this effect with floop and gave all treants +2/+2.  You have to have somehow not lost the board by this points AND still have stuff left over to benefit.  I just don’t see this carrying a treant deck.  Cool card and cool effect though.  If it were a 4 or 5 drop might have worked.

Sure a 7 mana 5/10 taunt is good stats but you wouldn't put that card in your constructed deck unless it synergizes well with it. In constructed, the two questions you should ask about a card is this: 1. Is it super high power level? And/or 2. Does it synergize well in a specific deck? In this case, for question 1, a 7 mana 5/10 taunt is very nice but it's not absolutely bonkers in constructed by any means. In other words, if the card just said "7 mana 5/10 taunt" i wouldn't put it in any real constructed deck. But the card isn't just a 7 mana 5/10 taunt. It also buffs your treants. Which brings us to question 2. Does it synergize well in the treant deck? And for me, idk. Yes buffing your treants is nice but I see the treant deck as some kind of tempo deck where you just try to constantly flood the board with a bunch of treants. I would want to buff my treants on turn 2 at the least, not turn 7. So is the card good? Well for the bad treant deck you'll definitely play it regardless because there aren't alot of tools to make it a good deck anyways. But i dont think this is what the treant deck wants. A 2 mana 2/3 taunt that has the same ability would be waaaay better for instance.

So yea, for those reasons the card is a question mark for me. Btw I'm not trying to come off as rude or anything. I agree with you that a 7 mana 5/10 taunt is solid stats! But constructed is not really about stats. It's more about broken cards and synergy. I just wanted to try and show you how I and other people evaluate cards for constructed so you can have a better understanding of how the the format works.

It comes late and only gives your Treants +1/+1. It has a nice stats of 5/10 taunt though. The question is, will it be enough value to make the Treant druid archetype as strong as Quest Druid or perhaps Dragon Druid this expansion. I doubt it.
