if you are a big deck, this could draw a gaint minion for low cost and ruin an enemy card depending of what the draw is, but most of the time this is a very specific tech
Seems OK as a tech card. Not understatted, can win games sometimes. This seems balanced.
It's a cool design. I think this supposed to be some kind of control - anti aggro tech, but against aggro at 5 mana, it's either to slow to not have immediate effect, or if you'r in good enough spot to play it - you'r already winning. Might see some play in some kind of combo, or real mana heavy decks. It also may be used as combo breaker:)
Shirvallah, the Tiger, Mountain Giant, Molten Giant, Grave Horror...
(I am getting double posts for some reason)
Forcing the enemy to draw at all is a mechanic they intentionally removed, (coldlight was a pita).
a 5 manage 6-5 is ok for its stats, and in giant decks gives them unplayable cards, while giving you a potentially free 8/8. Given that handlock revolved heavily around (initially) a turn 4 giant, a turn 5 6/5 and 8/8 in any class is pretty mad with the equivalent of burning a card of theirs.
I really like this card, with the caveat that giants are viable in the new world.
pack filler
Be ready to get downvoted by the hyped kids
no u
I think it is not a good card vs aggro because it is just skipping the important turn 5 (i.e. no taunt, no board clear...).
I guess it will be used in high cost decks just like Bright-Eyed Scout.
could be a possible inclusion in cannon paladin in wild draw Shirvallah or giants and give them a 20-25 cost they cant play or in hand lock with giants or giants mage. The intent being to give them a card they cannot play.
If you somehow know you are going to draw that then just use holy wrath instead
Or... Both?
I foresee this be among the heroes of youtube.
This is better than you'd think... You can ruin combos with it by making them too expensive. I think any "big" style deck that isn't afraid of recruiting this or polluting a Rez pool with it will run it. Maybe duel pally? Big shaman?
Arena filler. Wont see play
Stop writing this on every single card post, dumbass
The only thing that is a filler, is you on this website
My lord user-24725583 is a number 1 hyped runeterra fanboy leave him alone.
For a hater you sure care a lot. Pathetic
I like it.
