Taste like macdonald
This is still pretty strong with quest. The delayed eggs sort of kill off a bloodlust set up though. (prob intentional).
Arena filler. Wont see play
please stop
Yeah but in Arena it is actually kind of good.
5/5 is worth 4.5 Mana. 0/3 is worth 1 Mana. 4/4 is worth 3.5 Mana. Rush is generally worth 0.5 Mana. So unhatched this card is 6.5 Mana, and hatched 12.5 Mana worth of stats and keywords.
0/3 is worth 1 mana, huh? 0/3 is not even worth 0 mana.
You can't change how math works. Formula is (Attack+Health-1)/2 to calculate how much Mana is spent on stats.
So it is indeed:
1 Stat point= 0 Mana
2 Stat points = 0.5 Mana
3 Stat points = 1 Mana
And so on. Note that 0.5 values can be rounded either up or down. Compare Upgradeable Framebot with Am'gam Rager. Both are 1/5 which is worth 2.5 Mana. One costs 2, the other three Mana.
Finally a legendary normal for Shaman, in the past he has already had a lot of power along with the new Quest
Who tf play flamestrike in 2019?
i dont think it will see play brb playing legends of runeterra allso this game is dead Kappa
yay dislikes am i user-24725583 now?
no but realy its a great card should see lots of play and honestly is a creative twist on the classic "dragon protecting its eggs" theme you see in games like this
I know no one actually cares about flavour in Hearthstone, but this was actually a super cool pull for a lore character! I didn't expect to see the Stormheim Thorignir dragons show up for this set, but Nithogg is a really good fit for shaman, what with the lightning and all!
Card itself is okay outside of quest shaman but potentially devastating within it. You can bait board clear for your Former Champ, and if it stays on the board you get 21/21 stats for 8 mana, 16/16 of it with rush.
If the eggs were triggered by deathrattle, it would be worse in most scenarios - at least in current meta, cause deathrattle would only shine in control matchups, midrange and aggro would simply ignore them.
This one seems like win more nevertheless, but isnt weak at all.
I like how people are blowing this off. This card will be cancer. I've never seen a shaman complete quest after turn 5. How many classes can deal with a turn 8 5/5 with 4 0/3 that will soon be 4 4/4s? Rogue can't. Warrior needs brawl or his echo. Priest needs mass hysteria.
Trust me this card is going to be cancer.
The classic flamestrike
If you hatch one egg its okish, if you hatch two it's great, if you hatch more it gets pretty amazing. It could be used as a high-end refill in a token style Shaman or in a quest deck if the meta is slow enough for it. I like it.
You know it just summons 2 eggs
Corrupt the Waters
Usually, when I break an egg at home over my frying pan, there is no deathrattle activation to summon an angry chicken (or worse). So I like it that for once the eggs need to be protected before they can hatch.
I wonder, though, how an Nerubian egg omelette would taste like.... :D
4 mana for each spawn
