Innkeeper now supports Battlegrounds - Top 5 Hero Winrates and more!
As most of you know, Innkeeper is HearthPwn's very own Decktracker and Collection manager that we have used to gather the information we display on the site and use to write our articles. We are immensely proud to announce today that we have extended its support to include the new Battlegrounds game mode in Hearthstone.
What does this mean? It means that we can now log every Battlegrounds game you play while running Innkeeper and collect data about Hero Winrates and Top 4 placements, Minion pick percentages, Player Match Histories and loads more.
Our intention is to support and display all these useful game stats right here on HearthPwn, including the Player Match History in user profiles, which we're currently working on. The best way to do this is through getting as much data and feedback as we can, which is why we are inviting you to start running Innkeeper while you play Battlegrounds. If you already are, make sure that you have your client up to date so it has all our latest changes to support Battlegrounds. You can do that here.
To start using Innkeeper simply go to our dedicated website, where you can download it or click the banner below!
Stats Collected So Far
Before we dive into some of the stats we have collected so far, we have to put in this caveat that this is all based on data collected after the Open Beta launch, and that the data here is still a comparatively small sample size, even though it spans thousands of games played.
This is also just a small sample of the kinds of stats we have. In order to confidently display more information we want an even bigger sample size to ensure accuracy, as well as more time to build out support for the most useful stats here on the site.
With that said, let's dive in:

Conclusion
Let us end this post by thanking everyone that has been running Innkeeper to help us collect this data: you rock! If you want us to continue making posts with data like this, have specific stats you would like to see or have general questions, let us know in the comments! And remember, if you want to help us bring you these reports, run Innkeeper when you play Battlegrounds!
Great info, thanks for posting. Two comments:
1. Would love to see top 10 instead of 5. Have no idea how the middle tier performs
2. No reason to show to the second decimal point. Just makes things more difficult to read (sorry, i worked in finance too long :) )
Also would love to help show data for yall, I work in BI
And still no Mac support...sigh. I know, I know... get over myself. Sigh.
nice 🤓
Jaraxxus is very strong for top 4 if you just get 6 to 7 demons and pump that hero button
He can be quite good with a cleave minion
Is innkeeper getting updated again? Last I saw was development was being abandoned so I haven't used it for awhile.
Yep. It has been updated for a little while now, but we have refrained from putting it on the front page to make sure we had a good support basis again and had it back to a working state.
With Battlegrounds coming out this seemed like the perfect time to announce that it's back and more useful than ever. :)
If it doesn't track my collection then it still isn't useful... for me anyways. I don't use it for the deck tracking because I only play on mobile
If you have any kind of issue with running Innkeeper or it not syncing collection then please post a thread here:

We care deeply to get any issues solved, so please post about them so we can try and fix them!
Why are my only 2 wins so far both with Professor Putricide?
Well, this is Hearthstone. I guess 5.41% is basically 100% compared to nonsense that happens in Trolden videos.
I mean, I actually think Mukla's hero power is better than manastorms but the thing is mechs are clearly the best. They have full synergy and never have to rank up past level 4. I think a few of the mechs need to be ranked up, or IMO they need to make spawned minions not immediately be the next to attack. This would make it so problem cards like junkbot and hyena don't just ramp out of control.
How is Professor Putricide so low. His hero power is great with hydra.
Because it's garbage with everything that isn't hydra/foe reaper? In the late game, your first attack normally goes into a divine shield, so having +10 attack on your first attacker doesn't really matter.
Your right but getting a foe reaper divine shield with the hero power in the late game is super good. With hero power you should be winning the early game with vuler homunculus or void creeper. He not top tier but I'm just surprised how low he is.
Like Purpenflurb already said: in the late game most minions will have divine shields. Besides that, most players expect a Foe Reaper or a Hydra, so they'll put the minions they don't mind losing, with divine shield or don't mind taking damage next to the taunt minions. It usually goes to the side hitting only 2 minions or hit divine shields (in which case damage doesn't matter). About 90% of the time they're not going to get a 2nd hit in there before they're killed off, in which case it's just a minion with a bit more attack. So yeah, even with +10 attack they're not going to do you much more good than without.
And yes, there might be the accidental case where it finally pays off, but any experienced opponent will switch his board accordingly. Does that make it worthless? No. Does that make other hero powers a lot better? Definitely. And that's why he's so low compared to others.
I have junk!
nothing shows, it doesn't work
*Junkbot: 68.01%
Yep, but now backed up by hard statistics. This is also just the tip of the iceberg. There's far more interesting stuff.
Like, when you can see the win % and the pick % of Heroes and can start digging in to that. For instance, Toki has a higher pick %, but her win % is lower. That makes sense to us, cause Toki was very good and got nerfed, but people will still pick her based on previous experience and name recognition.
But in the data we have so far, Patches the Pirate actually has the opposite. His pick % is lower but his win % is higher, which begs the question why. Bad reputation? Seemingly weak Hero Power that is stronger than people have given it credit for? Sample Size playing a part?
It's all in play, and the more stats we gather, the better we will know what's true. :)
I had all but given up on innkeeper being fixed... it was fixed months ago?!?!? Why no news post?
P.S. yay its fixed!
