Goblins vs Gnomes: New Cards
We've got all the currently revealed Goblins vs Gnomes expansion cards available in our card database.
Golden Portraits Removed From Botters
Quote from DaxxarriWe’ve received a lot of feedback regarding the initial action we took against players who were using bots to automate gameplay. One of the major concerns that you expressed centered around whether the offenders would get to keep their golden hero portraits.
We’ve discussed the situation amongst the team, and we agree that those found to be botting should not get to keep their golden hero portraits. We’ve decided that the number of wins associated with each class on the offending accounts will be reset to 0, which will also remove any golden hero portraits that were obtained on those accounts. We know this issue is important to you, and your feedback is extremely important to us as we explore issues like this for the first time in Hearthstone.
As we demonstrated again recently, rest assured that we will remain vigilant and Hearthstone accounts found to be cheating will continue to face permanent closure.
I think blizzard knows they screwed up on dust devil and I think this is there way of making amends.
I've got two words for ppl who may be concerned Ghaz will be OP in constructed.
"hoot hoot".
So what? Do you like 6 damage per turn from Hunter?
ANOTHER Rogue or MAGE card? How about some warlock cards for a change...
Pfffffff rogue´s gonna win :(
That Gazzyrilla seems pretty good, hype
Gahz'rilla is really cool and strong, but I hardly see it played in a hunter decklist in a fast meta, maybe will rise a combo hunter deck.
Gahz'rilla is gonna be waayyy OP. You don't even have to own it and it will still save your Highmanes from hard removal.
The new action for the botting situation, best news of the day. Glad for it. Only regret is that they didn't lose all gold and or cards they've obtained by "not playing/cheating".
OP Shaman card is OP... If Shaman bots come back, we're all going to lose.
My guess for the new cards:
Mage: (5) Duplicate a friendly minion on the board. It has charge.
Rogue: (5) Destroy all minions your opponent played last turn.
Your mage card idea looks right.
Maybe the rogue card doesn't target creatures with Charge? They don't have "Zzz"
All of these look to have potential, despite my misgivings with the Snowchugger.
HAIL HYDRA
6/9 Legendary seems to be an an archetype similar to the 4/12 Legendaries currently in the game. It will be interesting to compare how each of them trade with the 8/8's in the game. Standard decks like Handlock won't be able to trade effectively or efficiently as attacking into a 6/9 will put a giant into Holy Nova, Hell Fire, Slam, Blizzard and Explosive Trap range.
Why does Rogue get two Epics? Cogmaster's Wrench was already an Epic if I remember correctly? Maybe there are more than the six expected class cards...
6 class cards were only assumed. It seems that there are going to be more cards per class. Every class has the same rarity distribution. You can be sure that the other classes going to have 2 epics as well.
What about "Put two copies of the most recently played spell into your hand"?
The versatility would be immense: copy board wipes against Aggro, and copy hard removal against Control.
Plus, both Counterspell and Spellbender are going to be rendered useless by all the Spare Parts this new Mech meta will generate (Although, in rare cases, I wouldn't mind copying an Emergency Coolant, Reversing Switch, or Finicky Cloakfield; the last one would be especially beneficial to combo with Antonidas), so we might as well find more reliable, selective ways of punishing the opponent's use of spells.
No longer would we Mages be screwed once the fifth giant threat is played during the Control matchup (After our initial 2x Fireballs and 2x Polymorphs were spent); now we would have the tools to possibly survive threats #5-10.
No longer would we Mages be permanently screwed over by the early undeserved tempo loss Warlock inflicts on us via Soulfire (or inflicted by Hunter via Freezing Trap).
No longer would Freeze Mage be limited to Antonidas in the pursuit of more Fireballs.
Regardless if I 'm right or not about the spell being a copy type, I have a feeling Mage is combing back with a vengeance, which we all know to be best served cold.
The names are "Echo of Medivh" and "Sabotage" if you care to imagine something out of the names and art alone....
They already have one: Mirror Entity.
Do I sense a bias? Go vote what now?
The name of the card makes me want to do it though so you might be in luck! ;)
