It's Blizzcon again in about a month, on Friday and Saturday, November 1st and 2nd, and that means the Virtual Ticket and it's digital goodies have gone on sale. Fun fuct - I don't know when is this Blizzcon.
Second fun fuct - I read this news, and I still don't know when this Blizzcon is.
xD
Awww, damn. That's such ingrained knowledge for me, it didn't cross my mind to add it to the article. I will add it now.
Blizzcon is on Friday November 1st and Saturday November 2nd. :)
1-2 nov USA xD
i did'nt buy it last year, but i'm pretty sure this is around the same price as it was, but look at the bright side, this year can't be worse then last year :D we might even get a few nice news
Wait wait holdup stop...
What is a Blizzcon viewing experience? I understand the idea of physically going to Blizzcon, but that just sounds like paying 40 pucks to watch trailers / adds / people talking about new Blizzard games? Is there something I'm missing here?
You get access to a Stream viewer, where you can switch between several channels showing live coverage of the Panels that go on at Blizzcon. You can see basically everything that people who go to the actual convention can see.
And it;s not just the Panels on stage where all the juicy info for the next expansions and new content gets discussed, but on 1 of the channels there's also constant interviews between Panels with devs from all the games, people higher up in management at Blizz, random interesting people that involved in panels, like Voice Actors, and celebrity fans from all the different fandoms.
And all of these broadcasts can be watched back through this Stream Viewer for like a full month after Blizzcon happened, in case you don;t have the time to watch a Panel when it's happening.
So it's the closest thing you can get to actually being there at Blizzcon. Virtual Ticket also in the past few years has had the option to buy the Blizzcon Goodie bag that people at the convention get, before anyone else does, and I believe those usually sell out.
So, all in all, you get quite a lot for the purchase of the Virtual Ticket, but you need to actually be interested in all of that. If you are only interested in 1 game and don't care about the rest, then it's hard to justify spending 40 euros. So it's basically up to the individual person to decide if the package of things you get and get access to is worth that price. It doesn't help that the Price for the Virtual Ticket has gone up dramatically from the 20 euros it used to cost.
I have to admit from a business perspective Blizzard is playing it absolutely brilliant.
Selling online tickets for an event where they promote the stuff they later sell.
The only thing I'm looking forward to is WC3 reforged release maybe on Blizzcon? At least reveal the release date set to Christmas?
Last Blizzcon felt like a Gamescom and it was the worst Blizzcon ever in it's history. I don't have high hopes for this one.
I think the card back sucks compared to last's year
Another money bait bullshit.
imagen paying 40 euro for a ticket that is not even a ticket to enter the actual event lol
But you get more useless Heroes mounts.
The golden legendary is like the other promotional legendaries right? The regular version will be available even if you dont pay? 50 dollars for a golden legendary and one card back? Sounds like a ripoff to me
If you say like Marin the Fox?, maybe. I can't confirm it, cause at this point we already had Marin early in the year of the Mammoth as a Teaser form Kobolds and Catacombs
why should you even go?
they are not even announcing DIABLO 4
w o r t h l e s s event
I would assume they will since a streamer like Quinn who's never been invited before got an invitation this year. Pretty sure there will be an announcement, not only based on his invitation, but also the fact that there's been 0 communications with Diablo Immortal, which would make sense. Anything D:I related would get smashed to the ground by the community.
As for the ticket price and the golden Legendary, I'm a golden card maniac, but Marin the Fox 2.0? Not too sure about this. It's a dead card that I had a lot of hype for last time.
So expensive to Brazil =/
Pretty sure it's expensive everywhere.
