What is Tombs of Terror?
Tombs of Terror is a solo adventure in the Dungeon-run style, where you can play as 1 of 4 Dual-Class Explorers and build your character and deck with a choice of cards, Hero Powers and treasures from 2 classes. The goal is to defeat the given PvE Encounters in a Chapter. Each Chapter typically has 8 Encounters, somewhat randomly chosen from a pool of them restricted to this Chapter.
What Time does the Adventure Release?
LIVE right now.
How do I unlock the Chapters?
The first Chapter unlocks for everyone for FREE. The second Chapter unlocks with the Deluxe pre-order, individually for 700 in-game gold (or €6.99 EUR/$6.99 USD) or all Chapters at once in a €14.99 EUR/$14.99 USD launch bundle.
What are the Rewards?
You can earn 3 Saviors of Uldum card packs for completing each chapter and the final encounter. There's an additional golden Classic pack for clearing all four chapters and card backs for deating all 5 chapters on Normal and Heroic mode. You can see the Card Backs HERE.
What's the story?
The League of E.V.I.L. has let loose several plagues upon Uldum, which in turn unleashed a host of mighty mythical beings, including the terrible Plague Lords. Thankfully for us Elise Starseeker reunited the League of Explorers and with them we are going to fight evil and save Uldum (and the world) from destruction.
What are Plague Lords?
Every Chapter ends with a fight against a Plague Lord end boss. These Plague Lords have a persistent health pool between Dungeon-runs, meaning that you will pick up the fight where you left off last time, instead of having the Plague Lord at full health again. They switch tactics and Hero Powers when you bring them to certain health totals and become even more deadly.

Good luck and have fun!
Tried to get there because of this comment but the bubble power stinks. The next one that gives windfurry and shield is insane. You just doubled the attack power of a minion and if that’s face damage only then it carries over to the next round. Divine also blocks poison. It’s game over once you field a damage dealer or two.
Also you need to defeat the plague bosses to get that weapon so... wat?
Love this one. I picked a good time to get back into this game.
I came, I saw, I came again.
i have been playing hearthstone for like 3 years and i swear to god this is the hardest adventure i have ever played. I can't beat easy mode even with 3 times trying. jesus christ
Same. I think it’s the bucket systems and how bad some of them are.
I think it's the goddamn easiest one. Just pick finley with the 5/1 weapon and the bubbles hero power. Played 8 times with it, 3 of which on Heroic, and won 6/8. One time I lost due to the rng, the other time I ran out of cards and left the plague lord with 3 hp.
Things to get: Treasures like the 0 manna twinspell refresh your manna crystals, the passive that dublicates your legendaries upon playing them, enemy minions have -1 attack (game breaking against the first plague lord and Siamat), VIP access if you're desperate (chance to get Bob's deck for 4 gold, which is made up of powerful tokens like quest rewards, fully upgraded spellstones and tokens like Highkeeper Ra/The Ancient One). Bob's bouncer is great if you need board clear (since it's basically 4 manna brawl with a potential bonus), the 3/6 that gives you heals is just amazing (especially if you dublicate it with treasure), copying an enemy's hero power can also prove useful in heroic (got 1 manna lifesteal: deal 1 dmg to all enemy minions from 7th boss, then kept it until I got "destroy a murloc, summon a 0/4 taunt" and it really turned the game in my favour). Other than that it's pretty much just playing correctly
Reno Jackson was too weak against any of his opponents for me, but then I used Finley in this wing and beated all bosses and the Plague Lord in first try. Playing a Murloc deck against the Plague Lord made everything really easy.
Bob Bombastic Deck are freaking AMAZING!!!
Got it 3 time
1.Entire deck fill with quest reward(old quest) and bunch of special minion like Ra , Ancient One , Azari and fully upgrade spell stone. Make Druid reward that turn all minion in your deck into cost 1 with friendship that make it always start in your hand. Then proceed to stomp everything under the sun.
2nd deck . if you ever saw yugioh meme that you have 5 piece of Exodia and deck fill with Pot of Greed, yeah...basically the same thing with Apprentice that put you spell into the deck after cast + 2 mana 2/3 element that trigger spell twice , a spell that cause all spell to cost 0 , and a bunch of draw . You can cycle through your infinite deck in 1 turn to find spell power + 5 + Ragnaros's Fire ball to OTK your opponent(basically you can 1 shot plague lord that doesn't immune).
3rd deck I got is deck filled with treasure and special minion from dungeon / rumble / heist / heist. Didn't play it yet.
Just wonder. 240hp taken for first time in adventure on first murloc plague. Is it a good score?
i thinks its normal i got mine to 19hp its a good thing i changed my hero power in the tavern to discover battlecry 1mana overload.finleys hat kept me alive . and the treasure that reduces cost by 1 when playing odd cards
here comes the greed
So I lost against Boss #2 and then against Boss #1, but then I beat the whole thing in one run. Compared to some earlier guys the plague lord is pretty easy, it just takes a while to get him to 0.
Lol, what's up with all these downvotes here? Do you want tactical advices or did I say something offensive?
If anyone gets a chance to take upgrade tavern/bar it's the sickest passive in the game. If you beat the next boss you can go into the bar and get the bartenders deck. 3 mana spell, all spells cost 0 you draw your whole deck and otk any boss lol.
That sounds amazing. Will definitely try it if I see it :D
ohh man, I saw that one, but picked another treasure, gonna see if I find that again
The deck looks sick! BUT! Never play Murlock Holmes, that card caused me a big loss.
no way you lost vs second boss...you went AFk right ? otherwise you must be really really REALLY bad at HS
I lost against boss #1 and boss #2. There was no chance to win it. I don't know what grandmaster you are, but I do reach legend in either standard or wild or both every month since nearly three years now.
HS is a much better game since that guy left
