Because they want to train people to pre-order. If you don't pre-order, it's going to be a long while before you can get the set at a discount.
Or it will just turn people away even further. I skipped the preorders this time and seeing that this bundle gives sets as far as 16 months ago, no reason to come back now.
instead of promoting another great bundle, how about handing out those 2 Uldum packs from the Masters Tour to all the people who watched plenty of hours without gaining the promised reward?
Hearth$tone.
Free to play. Pay to win.
Or go on hearthpwn and look up budget decks like me :)
its technically, PAY to win right now (get all the good cards), Free to play is on average a win later kinda thing (gain good cards as u get the dust needed)...
after re-reading this it may not make complete sense but ya.. to me it does.
I'm totally cool with bundles containing old expansions, after all it's a great way to help people catch up and flesh out their collections, but I wish they severely discounted the older cards. I get that a $1 per pack is already a discount, but I'm talking $.50 per pack for older expansions. $15 for this bundle makes more sense.
Got it and was incredible lucky. The random legendery was Colossus of the Moon, but otherwise got Shirvalah The Tiger, Hagatha the Witch and Myra's Unstable Element, aka 400 dust, and more like 800 dust worth of cards, so im happy.
Why are people downvoting this one? Nothing negativ about it - it is someones happy moment.
Because poor and jelly
I don't know what it is: bad luck, normal thing, or curse...
In last few(?) months I opened 25 Rhastakan Rumble packs, 13 Boomsday, 16 witchwood, and 35 classic packs (including that "the raven bundle") & I didn't get single legendary...
Only Rise of Shadows was "fine with me", because usually I was getting 1 legendary per ~10 packs...
I don't even want to look a these kind of bundles >.>
It seems like bad luck, but not that much.. the average is (or used to be) around 20 packs for a legendary.. and there is a pity timer, so the 40th will have a guaranteed legendary if you dont open one in the previous 39.. so excluding on the classic, you are on the average side i guess..
if you wanna optimize your pack opening, open from a set until you get a legendary, then switch to another set, as each expansion has its own counting..
Honestly t's a good deal. It's always better to buy a promotion then packs for standard prices.
This would have been 14.99 if they didnt add that random ass legendary in there. Cant fool me lol
This is exactly why there should be a pack exchange feature implemented so when ever they decide to sell these bundles with packs from past expansions, you could then exchange the packs you don't want for packs you do.
Does the random Uldum legendary included in this bundle reset your pity timer on Uldum packs?
If it's like the Welcome bundle (most likely), the legendary card doesn't come from a pack so it has nothing to do with pity timer.
Guess I'll just go back to sitting here and waiting for nerfs.
Honestly like most of Bli$$ards deals it's not that great. Not even a Golden Legendary card and 15 of the 20 packs is from previous expansions which means they hold less value, but Bli$$ard still wants you playing the premium of a new expansion. A person is normally guaranteed a Legendary in approximately 20 packs on average anyway. $1 per virtual pack is still a steep price imo. I'll pass.

This is how capitalism works. Pretty simple system. Seems to be over some peoples head.
These entitled kappa kids get confused when you bring up the free market. They actually think everything should be free.
