Blizzard just released a hotfix for a new card from the Saviors of Uldum expansion - Zephrys the Great!

Silence should be an option in his card pool... although Peter said something on the stream that they made it so only "interesting cards" from Basic and Classic would ever be offered. I wonder if they think of Silence as "interesting" or not.
He does offer silence occasionally. What I am saying is that if you have a frozen devilsaur and enemy has 5 hp, he won’t offer you silence, even though silencing the freeze on your devilsaur would have given you lethal

The devs stated he only looks at the board and your mana, not your hand.
he looks at your hand size* but not its exact content.
Why not changes its mechanic to "No matter how good your opponent plays - just win the game anyway" at the first place. (facepalm) just remove this card!

Not necessary, the card is just bad design for the game, it's another case of cards so good that it forces you to play it (look at all control decks last year running a hero card or not being viable) it can negate mistakes and is just always the premium card in your hand so you don't have to think which of your, say, 3 answers you need to use in order to have the highest chances, it's one of the worst designed cards among patches, the hero cards and Baku/Gen
This is probably because there isn't a single option in the classic/basic set which would solve this problem. Not that I can think of one of the top of my head.
how about shadow word pain? definitely better than cabal shadow priest as before :D
According to hsreplay he is the best legendary in the set. Easily a Staple in Reno decks forever.
Too bad wild mode is in this really bad state at the moment

I love building a board with bunch of harmless 1/1s, then play Zephrys to get Savage Roar or Bloodlust. What an amazing card.
During a double battlecry, he offers the same 3 options. It would be nice if he at least changed the card I just selected to another option since I already have one "perfect card" in my hand
This is not true, the second battlecry considers the cards your on hand. I've had a few games where he would give me a mountain giant or a twilight drake when he recognized my hand was +1 card.
On another note he has always given alchemist vs a doomsayer, so i dont know what needed to be hotfixed.
I guess giving Silence if you had less than 2 mana would be a great option
Its because theres been alot of screenshots where you get frost nova doomsayer and you use something to kill a small minion of yours play this and it wouldn't offer silence and board would be full so it offer stuff that give 0 plays that turn.
