This card is perfect in my opinion. Not broken, but usable in a wide variety of decks that run many spells, and most importantly, screwing over conjurers call’s ten mana minion pool which makes me really happy
10mana cards are slow as we all know.. but this card can possibly flood the board by itself and demand an aoe. It might have a place in some niche heavy spell decks.
Imagine playing this after your opponent plays Loatheb
I like your imagination
or you know Rebuke :V
why not both?
Jepetto likes to draw it
this time, the neutral legendaries are very cool.
To sad, that the class legendaries are not. But this should help to make a differentiated meta then this days with the 3-5 same decks on the ladder every day since the big boomsday buff patch.
I want this card really bad
This is an interesting effect but realistically will only see play if it can be cheated out. Don't think there is a universe where a control deck plays this and didn't need to use the majority of their big control spells to fight for board. I'm sure there will be a busted combo in wild for this or maybe as some have suggested a prismatic lens combo that is consistent can be created or possibly a pocket galaxy cyclone mage that can play this for 1 mana with a hand full of random spells. But I don't think it's enough of a 10 mana play if you play this even with a couple of 5-10 mana spells in hand.
Maybe better than Spiteful Summoner. But you need at least three spells (2 or better MANA) in your hand for good value….
Spiteful Summoner was only OP as a 6-drop, and is barely viable as a 7. This card is a 10 so it better blow Spiteful Summoner out of the waters, which it doesn't really do...
The first showcase of the card's ability in the reveal video had such an awful outcome...!
Don't underestimate this. If you are playing as control deck, its an easy board filler. Even if you have cheap spells, it will be useful to fill your board. Also synergy with Hagatha.
on turn10 it might be just too slow/rng-heavy because sometimes you need taunt or other keyword to survive and any battlecry minions is kinda useless but if you can somehow cheat him out few turns earlier it might be worth a try. in history 10 drops only saw play when they did something to control the board or help to hide behind taunt minions.
curious if King Phaoris + Prismatic Lens might work.
Prismatic Lens -> drawing a secret + King Phaoris -> swapping mana costs
Play 1 mana Phaoris and summon a 10 drop
That's devious. I love it.
Both cards have anti synergy since you want to have expensive spells for king phaoris but you wat to have cheap spells for prysmatic lens, so either youre gonna risk drawing an expensive spell with prysmatic lens or youre gonna summon a bunch of 1-2 drops with the legendary
It also has anti synergy with duel which you are probably running in a prysmatic lens deck, since pulling a vanilla 5/5 is kinda crappy
Edit: forgot that the cheap spell you draw is set to 10 mana, so you are guaranteed a ten mana minion which makes it noticeably better
Excellent with Prismatic Lens. If you hit this with Prismatic Lens then you are guaranteed to have a 10-cost spell in your hand.
Whoa good catch. Luck out and you got yourself a big tempo play turn 5. Too bad conjurer mage does bigger tempo plays without needing as much luck.
