I would only use this card if i used galvenizer and silence.The easiest class i see doing this is Priest with a 0 cost silence ,so play this possibly turn 3-4.

Except there is a chance there is still cards like Hex...Sheep... Death...posion murloc....Equality etc etc and if done later game ,well yeah still a good 8/8 for 4-5 if silenced.Thing is most decks are built around synergy,battlecries,card draw otk etc etc,this would simply be a basic card with good stats for the cost and again IF silenced.

I just played a quest priest and i got this off of the omega card,no way was i playing it ever.Priest was using Muerte resurrect and other nasty stuff that would be a headache is had reborn.I was lucky to barely beat priest playing with no mistakes and Elysiana of which my priest also copied with 2 cost Seance.

Yes i understand how it would be quite good in a Warlock mill deck but i don't play Wild at all to know what is relevant there.

You opponent plays a Taunt, then the 8 Attack likely won't connect face.

Fel Reaver and Bittertide Hydra were good cards because they threatened face. This one doesn't, because it has it's own counter build in. 

Far worse than the other two.

edit: Im not sure if Mortuary Machine gets played bc this is the only one out of the 3 Cards that gives your Opponent tempo by reborn. The other 2 Cards dont affect the bord at all.

From the Wild format, I can tell you that Fel Reaver is by far the best. It is played in Treachery Warlock, a Meta-relevant deck. Basically you pass it to the opponent, freeze it with Glacial Shard, then you burn their deck.

As far as Aggro goes, I'd say the Reaver is still better. You can easily reduce it's cost to three with Mechwarpers and Galvanizers, and then you intend to win so the drawback is irrelevant, whereas Bittertide Hydra gives your opponent a chance to kill you before you kill him.

I was around in the good old GvG days, and the Reaver made a much bigger impact on its Meta than the Hydra ever did. But we also had far less cards back then, as only Naxxramas precedes GvG.

Mortuary Machine seems the worst. If your opponent plays a Taunt, chances are high the 8 damage don't connect to face. Unlike the other two cards, this one gives your opponent a chance to snowball out of the pressure it creates, and that's bad.

You guys will be a bit surprised when you find out this card is completely broken when it can be magnetized by zillax in the same turn. Then again, maybe it will suck. 

Also if you play against reborn based deck there seem to be no drawback.

I doubt it would be double reborn, though it might happen, need to check this interaction.

Every single card we see is like some overstatted minion with terrible text and everyone's like "Whoa, is silence priest viable now???" lmfao this won't even get picked in arena

This isn't actually that bad, I mean reborn only brings minions back with 1 health so this is just a very good 5-mana minion imo.

Fel Reaver was played in the old mech decks, maybe this one makes the cut too.

Seems like an awesome Sideboard against specific opponents at tournaments.

May be silence priest can ge some use of it too.

Silence priest usually wants to silence their minions at the start of their turn, though, for easier curving and instant hit once you silence (not wasting silence on a minion that gets removed without having dealt damage).

That said, the third expansion will probably be more dragon focused. Uldum is not at ALL known for dragons, so it's not really the best time for that

 Kraken's and Mammoth's are nowhere near the popularity of Dragons, terrible comparisons to prove your point.  We don't want OP shit, we just want the flavour to be justified, so far there was no reason to call it Year of the Dragon except to jebait people.

yeah you can also use this as a mech base, then next turn play magnetis on it and then silence it.

So no effect anymore.
