Quote from Blizzard
The Burndown: July 24-31:
- A brand-new player vs. player Tavern Brawl where only the best decks remain at the top of the mountain. Queue up to receive a random deck. Then, if you lose, you’ll use the deck that defeated you in your next match. Which decks will survive The Burndown?
- Rewards:
- Earn 1 Saviors of Uldum card pack the first time you win a match
This brawl is horrible, bad decks, bad RNG. Easily one of the worst.
Pirate warrior returns!
with the team of 4 Patches the Pirate he is now ready to destroy the brawl
Ahh mercenaries 14, got it 😂
Mercenaries 280:
Turn 2: Cannon, coin, Deckhand, Patches x = 10 damage by turn 2. Win by turn 5
More RNG than in Teamfight tactics
RNG Fiesta, and not a good one.
This is a testrun by Blizzard!
Mission: How bad do we have to build a deck, so that players rage quit the brawl.
Mission accomplished!
Example given: In my hunter deck was no deathrattle card in the first 13 cards and i died on turn 10 with 2 Play Dead,N'zoth and a Da Undatakah being unable to play a card for 3 consecutive turns, because they all costed 8 mana upwards.
2nd troll flaming post in 20 minutes. reported.
That's the point of the brawl. Everyone gets a random deck and they fight until only the best decks survive. Some people will get weaker decks.
you are reported for slander
You can just wait until the final day and get your Pack using one of the best and most streamlined decks. Awesome idea for sure.
Sounds crazy - excited to try it right away!
I wonder if they are going to share some of the results. It seems like the Darwinian aspect of this Brawl is something that can be appreciated by those who can see the data and no one else.
They do share some data. They tell you how many wins you and your opponent's deck have (has? idk).
Right, but I was thinking more of a general overview of the entire field.
Won 5-0 with mech/big pala and got bored. It's just arena with autofill decks. Arena lovers will appreciate this brawl for sure.
My first deck was some kind of Mech Murloc hybrid paladin which did not do well against a mech mage.
I had a mech murloc handbuff paladin too except it had a ton of junk cards like Star Aligner. Managed to beat a pure stream lined elemental shaman (due to player incompetence) - he even got off a Zola / Kalimos combo.
What an utter horseshit brawl.
So far it seems cool
Most decks are kind of bad, but those one's will die off and at the end of the week only the strongest decks will be around
