No idea what you're talking about. I mean it possibly is a buff to random 9drop generation (generated from like Astromancer Conjurer's Calling or evolving 8drop with lackey). Thats probably when you'll see the card most of the time.
Anka the Buried synergy (obviously, as everyone else has said). Also Coffin Crasher for priest to cheat it out early, in addition to Reckless Experimenter. Definitely a lot more synergy in wild (rogue especially), where this could be cheated out with Barnes and Kobold Illusionist, and made more greedy with Sonya Shadowdancer. In standard, hunter can get some serious value off this with Nine Lives and Necromechanic, as well as all the obvious normal deathrattle synergies (Play Dead, Terrorscale Stalker and Spiritsinger Umbra).
Also is a great pull off N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Da Undatakah.
Handbuffs can be really powerful in mech decks, because the magnetize effects basically give the buffed mechs in your hand charge, so maybe that could see play as well? Given that mech decks become more of a midrange and less of an aggressive archetype.
Super cool card, hopefully it won't get totally overrun by aggro decks and we can have fun with it!
Really good with both Fel Lord Betrug and Dollmaster Dorian in any plot twist Warlock deck! That deck often has large hands full of minions, many of them with taunt. Some crazy shenanigans could happen there.
We are going to murloc and 3 mana 8/8 meta without defile, this is so slow to play but it's fun when u got rank 5 or legend
What a crazy effect, and glad that they're experimenting with different kinds of high mana cost minions. Will be good in Arena depending on the occurance bonus, though it's dependant on you having a relatively full hand, but with spells more premium it should get some value. Also Anka synergy but without Anka this card is literally useless so good luck with your 9 mana patches.
I love the artwork on this, best one of the year so far imo. We need more Anubisah's in this game.
Even at 6 or 7 mana this card would be underwhelming. You never want to play this card. This card plays you, as an unfortunate result of evolve effects or Conjurer's Calling.
That sure is a card.
Where all the priest cards??? Only 2 reveal and not even a legendary :(
They forgot priest this year. Small indie company you know...
Yeah priest died and was promised by the palladin to get resurrected, except he's still laughing at his corpse saying: "I thought resurrection was your thing now?"
This is for the Rogue Legendary. Otherwise it's too slow. Stats are below curve and the fact that it's a Deathrattle takes away the threat. With 9 Mana, your opponent will likely remove this 6-Health Minion and then it takes you two more turns until your handbuffed minions finally get to attack.
Taunt, rush and charge minions exist. There is plenty of ways that on your next turn the buffed minions have an immediate effect on the board state and dictate your opponents turn. Like, a buffed Zilliax or Batterhead
Yes, but the damage doesn't go face, you don't die. At 9 Mana your opponent likely has removal tools at hand to kill your buffed minions.
I'm not saying this has zero impact, quite the opposite the impact is huge but it's slow. You can't play this if you're behind on board. Your opponent just removes this with a spell, then he has both his minions and possibly more removal to deal with your buffed hand.
Typically slow cards don't take off, even less so at such high Mana costs.
The whole handbuff mechanic is notorious for being to slow by the way.
Great Arena card for sure though!
obviously Arena Card!
Hir'eek, the Bat Meta?
Not sure if it worths puting Hir'eek in the deck just in the hopes of getting the buff from Anubisath, but yeah, Warlock is a good candidate to make good use of Anubisath. (laughs in Omega Agent)
Everyone should definitely check out the reveal for this card - super cool sand art !
