Seems like a good card to play on turn 2 if you need to play a card on turn 2. The battlecry is nice that you get another murloc to play but it has a down side in that it also gives your opponent a murloc so they get a free card.

I see this card as a sleeper good card for murloc decks as this card is a murloc itself and can get you another murloc.

This card makes my pet crab *hangry*!

Puddlestomper was a Staple in aggressive Murloc decks in GvG times. It was just the much better Murloc 2 drop compared to the basic Tidehunter. Murloc decks were not good until LoE though. 

Then eventually It got outclassed by the Rockpool Hunter from Un'goro.

Similar, this card is plain outclassed by the Shaman class card.

It is good for every other Murloc deck in both Wild and Standard though. 

In Wild it has bonus synergy with Cold light Oracle and Dirty Rat and could make for a Murloc Mill Meme deck. 

Worse? No chance. This is Puddlestomper with 'add a murloc to your hand'. As the man said, the generated murloc is much more valuable to you than to your opponent unless you're both playing a murloc deck. Solid card that will probably see play in several murloc decks.

Not bad. Its a 3-2 for 2 which is solid for Murlocs and in Shaman this helps with Shamans "generation" problems.
