I can't believe people actually want to waste 4 mana and turn 4 (to get it out early enough where the mana cheating would actually be relevant) doing nothing to develop your board in an aggro deck if they think Prismatic Lens Murloc will be a thing. That tends to be...very bad.
Draw in aggro decks is only used for late game reloads, guys. You don't play them early.
The card itself is very powerful but requires a lot of support. It's not an archetype that I care for at all though, so I actually hope it doesn't get support.
We had a murloc paladin already can we just get something else???...
This card kind of reminds me of Anyfin Can Happen . However in wild Anyfin is used as a finisher tool to kill the opponent with charging murlocs that have high attack, whereas this card is used more as a tool to refill the board. Regardless, this card might just see play in standard depending on whether or not paladin has access to additional murlocs printed for it in standard. However I think in wild Anyfin Can Happen is just straight up better (killing the opponent in one turn is alright) than this new card.
Blizzard, you invented special keyword *recruit* for this! Why don't use it wtf?
Too confusing for new players
restricted to knc
They should just remove Recruit altogether and change it to "summon from deck" on every card. "Summon" already is a game term. Hiding a game term behind another game term is just bad design.
This card is all good and can be playable up until you look at the cost of the card. By the time you are up to 8 mana you have a lot of murlocs in your hand and already played and could and most likely will ruin any plan you have for your 7 murlocs coming out ramped up with charges in the line of attack. It lacks the control you had with the other mass murloc summon card Pally had in the past with Anyfin can happen.
It's not entirely useless. You can supplement what you put out on turn 8 in subsequent turns if the murlocs survive to your next turn.
The other issue is that it pulls 7 cards out of your deck.
BUT murlocs are aggro all the way and quick to play and quick to win if things go well so you may not even get to turn 8 as is the usual with murloc decks.
This card is useless. If a murloc gets to turn 8 it's usually against a control deck that can and will wipe out the line of murlocs you summon out.
Don't see this being played but curious to see if someone can make something useful out of it.
Playing it with Prismatic Lens is the only way to make it viable as all murlocs are cheap to play so the cost would be cheap but you couldn't have any other spells in your deck but with murlocs that is usually the way.
So far I think we don't even have 7 murlocs in Standard for paladin! Or at least 4/5 murlocs that would make this playable...
by that time you already played all of them
also if you need to play murlocs on turn 8, you're doing it wrong
massively overhyped card, it's just ok
I dont like murlocs so i hate this card 7x more then any other murloc card
Except Murloc Tinyfin . He is cool.
people on this page upvote for studpid comments upvote if u agree downvote if ur a potato
Cool stuff but i clear the board and gggggg
That's not how the game works, but ok
Just give us a taunt dragon our something, not this dumb murloc synergy
