It won't.
If he returns as a 1 Mana 1/1 it's even better. That's a cheaper infinite Nerubian Egg with a better statline.
No because he changes zones.
Turn 9 - play anka, shadowstep
turn 10 - magic carpet and a fuckton of 2/1 rush deathrattle minions with insane effects.
Play some insane deathrattles but also some card draw deathrattles like Arena Treasure Chest to refill your hand, then play anka again and deathrattle rush in a second wave.
This is lowkey insane. This plays somewhat as a lategame aggro deck, with slow build up and then endless swarms of deathrattles drawing cards and summoning hordes of large and small minions and dealing massive damage.
but why turn 9 and 10? turn 5 and 6 looks good too (3 mana for carpet and 3 mana for 3 minions with dr)
Maximum damage, tbh, turn 5 and 6 works too but this kind of works as a weird aggro value deck, so you want to maximise your use of anka and magic carpet which means filling your hand over the first 8 turns then dumping everything on 9 and 10 so your opponent cant do much to counter.
sry mate but that does not make a whole lot of sense. Because if you dump everything onto the board around turn 10 your opponent has more mana aswell so he can answer the board a lot better because there are a fuckton of possibilities to combine cards with more mana and you give them more time.
For example let's say you are up against:
Warrior: Warpath + Brawl at turn 7
Shaman: Devolve or Plague of Murlocs + Hagatha's Scheme or Volcano (Wild)
Mage: Doomsayer + Arcane Explosion + Frost Nova
All I'm trying to show u ist that their are more answers the longer you wait so i think the tempo plays are stronger:
Turn 4 (with Coin): Coin + Anka, the Buried + Shadowstep
Turn 5: Anka, the Buried + 2x Mechanical Whelp
Turn 5: Anka, the Buried + Shadowstep
Turn 6: Anka, the Buried + 2x Mechanical Whelp + Carnivorous Cube (in Wild) or Cairne Bloodhoof (in Standart) --> not 100% sure how Gral, the Shark would work out but its cost should get reduced aswell i think.
Really? Not Fair. Mecathun plus Miras? So not fair.
Mecha'thun doesn't actually work that well with Myra's because you then have to empty your hand of all non combo cards, and you'll likely need more card draw to make the deck work anyways, so way too much fatigue damage
Exactly, fatigue will be deadly. I believe Gadgetzan + other card draw cards are much better.
oh shit, I didn't figured out this combo, this could be a potential problem
This might be a viable counter for Warrior, but Rogue can already kill most decks quicker than that.
Myra + Mechathun + Backstab....
feels like they designed this to create a mechathun rogue deck. with myra, this card and mechathun you can in theory do it as soon as turn seven or 8 unless missing something.
mechathun + myra have problems with fast discard card from hand, this card can help with fast play hard deathreattles for Da Undatakah or just Mechanical Whelp 1/1 for 1 mana + Necrium Vial on 6 turn (or on 5 if u have prep and coin for Anka) = 1/1 with dr + 7/7 + 7/7
Mechathun rogue!!!
This expansion seems like its reinforcing Wild mode instead of standard
And I'm totally fine with that!
Finally I can discount my beloved Anub'Arak
Only once. When he dies and is added back to your hand, he will be full cost.
