I see more this card for decks murlocs than the upgraded Hero Power
It's interesting that Blizzard change the stats of this card apart from the original one so this cannot be drawn with Crystology, they should have thought it would be too powerful, since you can also draw it with Call to Adventure and could be really consistent.
Very good card... For Underbelly Angler :P
These no duplicate cards only really shine in Wild format where you have the card variety and previous no duplicate cards to fashion a powerful deck. Not sure if this will make the cut in Standard but it's basically a auto include in any Reno Wild deck.
Tier list:
S Tier : Warrior
A Tier : Mage - Hunter - Druid
B Tier : Paladin - Warlock - Rogue - Priest
C Tier : Shaman
Priest : restore 4 health. meh
Hunter: deal 3 damage. good pressure
Warlock: Draw card. paladin always needs to draw so it's good.
Mage: deal 2 damage. paladin lacks direct damage and it would be helpful
Shaman: least effective.
Druid: 2 attack 2 armor. better than nothing
Rouge: 2/2 weapon. not very good
Paladin: summon 2 1.1 tokens. well better than regular hero power but not that good without their support.
Warrior : Gain 4 armor each turn. is pretty good in almost all situations. combining this with High Priest Thekal would gives u high level of survivability
it's a paladin card m8
And it discovers ANY random hero power. You can choose from a selection of upgraded hero powers for whatever your playstyle is. Statistically, you will get a hero power perfect for your playstyle, and that is terrifying.
I honestly think in any form of aggressive decks, the warrior one is by far the worst. It doesn't help your gameplan at all. Rogue is 2 mana deal 4 damage over 2 turns, which is pretty good overall.
All you have to do is look at Baku and Justicar decks to see which are S/A tier.
S/A: Warrior and Paladin
B: Hunter, Mage, Druid
Everything else except Warlock is low tier. Even though the upgrade on it is garbage, the default Warlock Hero power is so strong that it's still good.
Paladin and warlock hero powers are probably better than hunter/druid/mage hero powers unless you're playing an aggro deck, and for an aggro deck, rogue might be the best.
Getting 2 1/1 tokens is actually an amazing upgrade. Back when Justicar was in rotation, control paladin was the only deck that ran it aside from control warrior, and that was with no synergy; getting 2 1/1s every turn is just fantastic value for any longer games, and lets you trade more efficiently.
The warrior hero power isn't nearly as good for paladin as it is for warrior, since paladin don't have shield slam or anything to work with it.
I can't wait to see how this works with my wild dragon paladin deck!
This is very much so an Aggro paladin card, which is perfect for the singleton requirement - Aggro is the archetype which takes the card quality hit the best, so putting in some less than good cards to get this to work is not as bad as it could be. Plus the effect is easily the best of the Explorers - Upgraded Hero Powers are bonkers, and there's only really two you don't want for your aggro deck - Priest or Warrior. Midrange Paladin might also like this card, but the requirement is more impactful if you can only run one Pyro or Cons to combo with Equality or Shrink Ray.
It's a 2 cost card though, and there are ways to get those out reliably. But the two cards which can allow this (Call to Adventure and Piper) both require no cards to cost less than this, which means no 1-2 cost minions. So odds are, not super considerable for your typical Aggro and most Midrange Pallies.
Can the blizzard for once give a playable direction to the paladin class?
First dragons without a supportive dragon, then a useless and legendary secret that doubles the useless, now this, unplayable and absurd ...!
League of E.V.I.L >>>>>>>>>
Highlander paladin to gain a Baku effect of some hero power - after you found finley in your deck? I mean, this is really good, but making a highlander paladin deck sounds tough!
Unplayable in Paladin class...
This will be very good in wild! I can't wait! :)
just upgraded Finley
Out of those 4 legendaries, this one looks playable :o
7 mana Krush unplayable xd
