 I think Devolve is still better, especially vs swarmdecks with a lot of buffs. The mirror effect is also limiting for how many decks will run this, Devolve on the other hand is EVERYWHERE, including in super aggro. 

While the card is similar to Devolve i fell the target is different , i mean with devolve you where targeting rattle/buffed up/or just Taunt Minions .Plague of Murlocs id say can target these but it will shine when played against an enemy with high mana cost cards ,currently mage with Giant's,mech pala . Yes the draw back is you can't use this against taunts cause your also losing your own board but in a control shaman that's not really going to bother you.

Devolve is better in the sence that it can be used in an aggro or control deck also.

PS: this card is not bad ,its another tool to make control shaman viable .The current standard meta is 1 Control (warrior) like 2 Midrange decks ,1 very bad OTK deck and 10 Agro decks .not versatile at all

This is okay, but Yogg was too random for competitive play? Sigh...what is it, Blizz? Either make these random game winning/losing cards, or don't, stop going back and forth with it, it's super annoying and dumb

At least this card is not even, because of Wild Even Shaman, but if it will get nerfed to 4 mana.... 

(And prepare yourself for Old Murk-Eye, maybe even with the copy from hand....)

And besides Big Skill Priest, this is the perfect hate card against Anyfin Pala! 

Hopefully no murlocs with taunt this expantion.

 Why would aggro murloc Shaman not want this. It gets rid of your opponents taunt minions and refreshes your board state, possibly providing charge effects to win you the game.

Obviously better vs control decks and big minions like you said, but the fact that it's so horrible vs an aggro deck definitely means it's no where near the best removal in the game. That slot might go to earthquake imo.

I see this card being used in some token shaman deck more often to be honest. (Assuming it's even good enough to include).

Psychic Scream is a much better AOE then Earthquake. Earthquake is still quite good, but it's not as powerful as psychic scream.

Looks like I'm playing a ton of Shaman next season.

Devolve saw lots of play, which means this will see play. It's even better than Devolve in a lot of respects and has more combo synergy potential.
