Deciding to close HearthPwn, along with a handful of other community websites, wasn’t an easy decision for our company, but we could no longer justify the substantial engineering resources it took to run the properties. It was a sad day in our office when we announced the sunsetting of many beloved sites.
Previously, we weren’t able to entertain selling the sites because they were built on a proprietary platform. It would be a monumental task for an external engineering team to maintain or migrate the communities. Knowing this, we announced the site closures, but just as the sun slowly began to set for these properties, a figure appeared . . .
As of this week, we’ve identified a company with the necessary experience to buy and run these sites (including HearthPwn), so that the passionate communities will continue to have homes on these long-standing sites. With this, we have started to transfer the sites to Magic Find. As for the staff on these sites, it will be up to them and Magic Find to decide how they’d like to move forward.
This isn’t the end for HearthPwn. It’s a new and exciting beginning. We wish Magic Find the best as we say goodbye to several of the properties that helped our company grow into what it is today.
This will be the last update from Curse/Fandom. All future communications will be from the new site owner.
I will go to where most of the Mods/staff go. They are beating heart of Hearthpwn. The community will follow. (at least those worth keeping around).

Plot Twist
I came for this. :D
LMAO
Let's be real, outof.cards by Flux is the better site anyways. Loads significantly faster while also looking better.
Sorry for the buyer tho, you probably didn't make a good deal with the mess Curse left behind.
who cares lmao just fucking close without this shitstone drama
What a joke lol. "Look we care about the community :)" ...proceeding to sell the site to the highest paying customer. Nice job curse.
Cool !
Hope no RegisKillbin anymore.
This feels like a dick move.
So, Flux wanted to buy the site, you told him it wasn't for sale, then sold it to someone else anyway?
Yeah, I'm done with Hearthpwn.
No reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater, lots of great people will remain at Hearthpwn, if you're done no need to be so self-righteous; people who stay at Hearthpwn aren't wrong to do so.
What a TWEEEST
Good luck. Won't say that I will never come back but, for now, Outofcards is my more likely go-to site.
Amazing! Good news. Congratulations!!!
What about outof.cards though?
What the hell is Magic Find?
There must have been a lot of workplace drama and angry emails involved.
Cya
i will always love you </3
