Clockwork Card Dealer - Standard is This Week's Tavern Brawl
Tinkertown gnomes are testing their prototype card-bot: Optimotron! The card you draw on turn 1 will be a 1-cost card, if you have one. On turn 2, a 2-cost card...
Trivia
- This is the fourth time we've seen this particular brawl.
- Today is the second time its been limited to Standard cards.
- Clockwork Card Dealer made its debut on October 7th, 2015.
How it Works
- Build your own deck using Standards only cards.
- The turn number determines what kind of card you will draw from your deck based on card mana cost.
- Turn 1 gives you with a 1-cost card.
- Turn 2 gives you a 2-cost card.
- Turns 11 and onward will result in normal card draw from your deck.
- If you have cards which have draw effects, they will draw as normal and aren't changed by the brawl rule.

Maybe try playing a game with it
4 games, 4 wins. Worked for me.
Autocomplete Paladin FTW! Won my first game against Demon Warlock Zoo, it's really nice when you have just a little bit of an idea what you're going to draw but you can be sure you\ll be able to play it...
Guess I'll see if it'll hold for the brawl quest I just got...

This was a hilarious deck. Poor little warlock I faced thought he had the edge on me then turn 9 and.......Dead af. Thanks!
I went for a Mage deck that curves into Luna's Pocket Galaxy. My opponent conceded on turn 1 and I don't really want to spend time on this brawl, but I'm kind of curious how it would have worked out. Went for Water Elemental --> Bonfire Elemental --> Arcanosaur to keep things manageable until turn 7, then the rest of the deck is all 8+ cost minions (plus power of creation) that will cost 1.
Only issue is card draw... Playing out 1-cost minions one at a time doesn't do all that much for you, so you have to include some t2 and t3 cards that you'll ultimately hold for later draw, which makes you fall behind on tempo.
paladin is a bit overpowered this time around ...
LOL the priest deck is 100x better and more auto win.
If only it was wild...
Me:Are you going to make a good braw?
Blizzard: NO NO NO NO
Me:Good and fun?
Blizzard:NO NO NO NO
Me: Old and boring?
Blizzard: YES YES YES YES YES
It doesn't have quite the same insanity that makes me want to play it repetitively.
I made a druid combo deck that just ramped turns 1, and 3, and on turn 4 you had juicy spychmelon to draw your combo, then on turn 7 you could win.
I only played one game with it ad got lucky, I would not recommend playing that deck.
Yet another "win a game, get the pack and never look back" kind of brawl. I really wish some of the more awesome brawls would appear more often.
Tempostone, Curvestone
This is a hunter/rogue brawl, just like ladder.
0/10 creativity, 10/10 ease of deck design on my part
This Murloc/Token deck crushed it for me.
This is similar to what I played. It wasn't as exciting as some of the options I saw opponents playing with, but I won regardless.
