I want to figure out a way to use it alongside Magic Carpet.
Yes could provide some extra punch. But carpet is more viable in rush decks I think otherwise it just gets killed very soon. And since your train will go off later in game most of the time I doubt if its worth the slot.
And also: one extra attack has more impact on smaller boys (who go from 1 to 2 attack for instance) than on bigger boyz (who go from 8 to 9).
It's less the 1 attack, but the carpet gives the minion rush, so that 8 attack guy is now a 9 attack guy that can swing for immediate board control.
This is making me regret dusting my Pogo-Hoppers. And maybe other things, but that's the only one I remember. To be fair though, I think buffs were unheard of since beta.
don't blame yourself on that one, nobody spected this aswell
Really nice move, this will bring some freshness between the two expansions. I really like this! Good job Blizzard!
Will they have their dust values changed like how nerfed cards get their values changed?
So...does this mean I can disenchant these cards for full dust? FeelsOkayMan
no, it doesn't
There are so many cards that are terrible, even among Epic and Legendary. Why they choose to buff those instead of others? I know they're trying to shake up the meta a bit after it become so stale so fast, but this kind of action seem so random if you look at all the cards that will still never see play: they should stop printing trash/filler cards each expansion and try to add less but more usefull tool into the game.
Why was this down-voted so much? It's absolutely true. There are literally hundreds of garbage cards in this game stretching across all sets that could've and should've been buffed long before now, but they aren't because Blizzard is trying to leech more money out of people by always pushing the newest stuff on them. Hence why Wild is the utter crap show of balance it is.
"Wild is exactly that, wild!"
You're right, it was about Classics being HoF-ed.
Just came back from a conference and missed these news.
Half way through I really thought this can't be serious - some buffs are so strong that it's not even funny.
They said they will add cards before next expansion to compensate for Witchwood's odd/even rotation. So I'm guessing this new legendary will be in the Witchwood set.
No, it's not: it will be included in The Boomsday Project set.
However, where did you get that info? I knew they said it about the Classic cards that went to HoF, but not nothing about Baku and Genn.
Warrior cards buff? LOL
As if they were not already used. And they are both super annoying... Was it needed?
I find it funny how they wont add Echo on Witch's Brew because they want to "preserve the flavor of the mechanics to their introduction expansion" (The Witchwood) but they add Echo to this random all of a sudden card.
It's because it's a boomsday project card.
Yes, yes, keep buffing Pogo-Hopper Rogue :D
