is pogo hopper even viable in standard? i play wild and the last time i saw this card was like 6 months ago
I don't know how I feel about the Mechs buffs. With Hunter and Warrior already being top 5 decks and pretty unstoppable by some classes.
Dr Boom having better mechs and Hunter having another magnetism + deathrattle mech, while Rogue is being severely nerf, is kindah worrisome.
At least priest and mage will probably have new decks which is cool.
Also Thunderhead was already a pretty good card, there were probably better cards to buff imo.
But I like the idea of things changing more often with this new team, its cool.
Mechwarper+Mechwarper+Faceless Manipulator+Sn1p-S4ap.
Yeey, every class gets an infinite board for 4 cards and 8 mana! Add in mana discounts, mechwarper fishers and other ways to duplicate them... I need to talk to the person thought Echo and Magnetic on the same card was a good idea...
Or you play Coppertail Imposter and then next turn you just play Reckless Experimenter and buff him with the new magnetism legendary until he has lethal and win the game :D
That's lethal!
So glad they will give SN1P-SN4P for free to everyone, and golden, and it's even better considering it's actually a preeety good mech, we know from experience that so many keywords in one card (see Zilliax or Walking Fountain) usually turn out to be crazy good. I just hope they wont nerf it for Priest shenanigans, if they nerf something let it be Reckless Experimenter.
Also, about time they made some buffs. Not sure if most of those will make the buffed cards playable, but still, a good start.
They should also buff the Witchwood Cards. Witchwood without Genn and Baku feels super weak and influencials the meta by neary nothing
how do they nerf her tho? if they nerf her to reduce 2 mana instead of 3 mechathun priest will die and you can play something like mechwarper to do the combo either way
Wow. Has someone replaced the usual team?
While this buffs look mostly interesting, and they make new decks possible, the precedence of buffing will open hundreds of pointless threads on Hearthpwn, devaluate the wild sets, and leading to an eventual power creep that will make most of the classic set unplayable.
So, if they start buffing, they better do something to help the other sets compare. But this buffs seem like they are intended shake up the meta, which also could be good- sparsly used.
Another thought: Mid-Expansion such events seem common. Maybe for this cycle all Events will be about a villainous theme(Boom=Mechs) and this unprecedented buff of cards can be explained by villains breaking the rules?
Sn1p Sn4p will eventually be 4 mana, just to counter the Priest OTK on turn 5.
Or they make Reckless Experimenter not reduce to less than 1. Cause holy fuck is that combo an obvious oversight.
That one and Mechwarper ones in Wild... Hunter and warrior worry me the most but many classes will be able to build enormous boards early and consistantly...
Do we get full refund for the buff? Seriously, I don't think some of the cards will be playable even after buff and to be able to DE them for full cost would be sweet.
I like the idee, sadly its just a dream.... I for example dischented a golden Dr. Moorigan about 13 pogo hopperrs and many others.
Its not the blizzard way to compensate you for doing something in the past ,we should be happy they atleast realease that nerfing is not the only viable option when it comes to balance changes.
No more echo they said. Yeah, I see.
A very nice buff to mech hunter, even more board-clear protection with this mech (and magnetic means you can suddenly hit with an extra +6/+9 to a mech on board, as if +5/+5 from the occasional Wargear is not enough to seal the few extra damage you need) and a 4 mana 3/6 might also be really nice (don't think I'l craft an epic just yet, though)
So, instead of nerfing Dr. Boom, Mad Genius they're actually buffing him with better discover mechs...
They just love his fuse-thing!
ok... Does anyone knows do we get dust refund for these card?
I don't think we should? But who knows maybe blizzard is feeling kind today. I'm Hyped for the new hearthstone team! They doing great work.
Dude what's your problem? Not to be rude, ok?
But really, wtf.
You are asking for dust while they make your useless cards better?
What's the reason behind this?
The answer is: NO, you will not get any dust refunds for this cards.
He is just asking a question and giving even props to the new Hearthstone team. You are the one who is outraging here.
So, whats your problem?
