How Zayle, Shadow Cloak Works + All Five Decklists
The new Dalaran adventure that releases this Thursday comes with a new awesome card that works like our friend Whizbang the Wonderful. Instead of the regular deck recipes though, Zayle has 5 special E.V.I.L. decks.
Obtaining Zayle, Shadow Cloak
There are two ways to obtain Zayle.
- Purchasing the entire adventure gives you a golden Zayle, Shadow Cloak.
- This can be done with money right away ($20) or gold as the wings come out (700 per wing).
- You must own the entire adventure before you'll get golden Zayle. You do not need to complete it.
- Crafting through 1600 dust gives you the normal version of Zayle, Shadow Cloak.
- The ability to craft a normal Zayle will unlock on Thursday when the adventure releases.
The Decks
There are five decks that Zayle provides. They are all E.V.I.L! Each deck comes from the class that represents each member of the League of E.V.I.L. and internally is referred to as such. Example: "Boom's EVIL Deck".

Good man :)
so my question is this: why is zayle a 3/2 for 2 mana, when whizbang is a 4/5 for 4 mana?
so my question is this: why does it matter?
it does not matter, I just think it is a little funny how these two cards that can not be played have different stats. because there is someone who has to decide what stats they get, and I wondering what made them decide to make them as they are.
So that they don't get mistaken for being the same card. And they can be played when discovered, so they have standard stats for that cost of card.
It does matter for stuff that generates random minions. Especially evolve.
Because Whizbang the Wonderful represents (4/5 -> 4+5) 9 classes, and Zayle, Shadow Cloak represents (3/2 -> 3+2) 5 classes. duh!
p.s: was just kidding (or??)
the can be summoned via mages conjuring spell, astromancer and 4 mana summon 2 random minions spell.
Whizbang = 18 decks not 9.
Classes ≠ decks
no way in hell am i wasting 2800 gold for this plus i haven't even touched any of the other previous adventures and they were free
Your loss... Those adventures are a lot of fun.
None of em where free. They cost the same price if i remember correctly(20$ or 700 gold per wing).
I mean the old one's not monster hunt and other crappy "adventures"
Exactly... if not it's not worth 2800 gold (which i have saved for adventure and i'm really disappointed so far).
I don't think it can
Cool, thanks
So you have to pay around 3k gold or 20usd for a single golden legendery, that do nothing...
.. And the entire adventure and the rewards that comes with it
Single player HS is like single player WoW...
You also get packs. Dont remember the exact details, but when I was calculating it when it was announced, its either a 4 pack loss or an even if you de the legendary. So its either neutral or a slight loss.
