Token Druid is King - The Best Rise of Shadows Deck For Each Class
We're almost a week deep into Rise of Shadows and its time that we look into how each class is doing and what their best deck right now is.

Not in a super great spot right now globally, but this is the best deck Priests have to offer. Priests have almost always been in that funny spot where good players will do really well with a deck, share it, and then others tank the overall winrate to make the class look bad.

I've found that the current Zoolock seems to be quite weak, only in comparison to versions of the past. Obviously it's working pretty well in the current meta, but seems to be overall weaker/vulnerable than it has been historically. The minions are very weak and a ton of them only do 1-2 damage without help.
I've been using Lost Spirit at an attempt to get more burst, and it's been doing pretty good. Only about 15 games sample size though. Synergy with Grim Rally, Eggs, and EVIL Genius, the Lost Spirit just made sense. Plus it's nice having a slightly different list than everyone else lol.
Most of the time the opponent overextends into killing it, so I tempo it out quite often even with only 1 dude on board. I've had them burn Hellfire to kill the Spirit and a plain 1/1, just out of fear of what the Spirit can do. Kinda funny. Other times it's provided the reach that the deck normally lacks, stealing those tricky wins.
I am also using Leeroy and Soulfire for extra reach. I just feel like the tiny dudes can't push the damage on their own. They do pretty well at board control, but difficult to tempo in face damage at the same time.
Anybody else experimenting with altered lists? I certainly haven't seen any variation on the ladder lol.
Oh boy, oh boy, I do like these shaman and warlock decks. However, I'm looking for more of the OTK / control decks rather than new aggro ones xD
Right now I'm testing my new Wild Malygos Shaman so if you're interested then check the deck

sweet decks are sweet. That zoolock...noice!
Who could know The Forest's Aid will be in tier 1 deck. Also Mark of the Loa lol
That's the kind of thing good spell support will do.
Shredded half of the decks listed (mostly token on ladder).
The other half I either did not see on ladder at all (Mechadin) or did comfortingly against.
THIS ARTICLE !!!!!!!!!!!
DRUIDS EVERYWHERE NOW !!!!!!!!!!
so much fun seeing this kind of archetype for decades now !!!!
... What?
Yeah, definitely, face decks are so deep and layered. You're right, sorry.
And of course for you the alternative to aggro is double Elysiana. The world in black and white, ladies and gentlemen.
No Myras on that rogue list, yikes...
Nine decks, nine Standard decks another time. jajajajaj
Is that you dare not play wild decks?
Why do never put wild decks??

Yeah priest is good but all the players just suck.
Well spoken.....
Who said my life is around us? I'm just complaining that a mere week into the expansion CASUAL (I repeat: CASUAL) is littered with those exact aggro decks (oh let's not forget beast Hunter too!!!) and any glimmer of experimentation seems to have faded away already. I think this is sad. But it's only my opinion.
Every expansion benefits an aggro meta the first weeks. It is more difficult to depurate control decks than aggro decks (cause they are focused in counter the second ones). After the aggro decks are settle the control and combo options are discovered. Have happened EVERY expansion since GvG, so relax, try to depurate your control or combo deck to defeat the meta and eventually you will become meta until somebody does the same to you. That how meta works in every game.
I was thinking the same like you some time before. The first reason for the most people playing aggro or top tier decks in casual is, that they have to test the decks. Most people don´t wanna loose ranks because of a new deck. Thats it. If you are agree with thoose people or not, they still doing this. They ever will exept Blizzard will make a new gamemode which is better for testing out new decks. And even if they will do, still some people will use casual for playing metadecks. You sadly couldn´t do anything about. The second reason why they do this is they may have played enough ladder and just want to have some fun. For some people it is funny to play aggro in casual. for some like you not. I´m sorry for you, but thats how it is.
Thank you Blizzard for giving us new amazing tools for such skill-intensive decks like murloc shaman, token druid, tempo rogue and zoolock. And many thanks to the bold players community too for already flooding casual mode with those decks less than a week into the expansion.
Every expansion have such decks. So why are you angry about? Everything is better than this silly DK´s and all that stuff around. After a few weeks the first counterdecks will come. And not everybody has time and the dust to play control. I for myself don´t have the time to play games that are last 20 minutes and more. I prefer faster games. My life isn´t just around hs.
Thats good to have aggro decks in ladder, control meta would be horrible. But yeah in casual, i dont understand people who play these netdecks.
Like you said, not everyone has time to play double Elysiana control mirrors and faster decks are super fun.
The idea that aggro is brainless is so silly tbh
