Token Druid is King - The Best Rise of Shadows Deck For Each Class
We're almost a week deep into Rise of Shadows and its time that we look into how each class is doing and what their best deck right now is.

Priest - Resurrect Priest (49% WR)
Not in a super great spot right now globally, but this is the best deck Priests have to offer. Priests have almost always been in that funny spot where good players will do really well with a deck, share it, and then others tank the overall winrate to make the class look bad.

Tempo Rogue and Heal Druid eat bomb warriors.
I've hardly played against the token druid deck and when I have Ive destroyed it. I made legend with token druid numerous times but if you run any deck with taunts or clears this version isnt a problem to handle at all. Looking at the list of decks the other classes are not running clears hence why its winning. I play a control mage addressed variant of the summon endless 8 mana minions and endless spells mage deck and I have yet to fail on pulling FS or blizz or any number of mage clear spells when I face this deck. Time the taunts rights and clear before they can buff and kill you next turn. RoS has definitely made this expansion all about minions and over the top OP cards. The game is actually fun again. RoS might just be what saves the franchise
vargoth + blessing of nature, says "hi".
ha ha, it's one of the stickiest decks right now. I bet it's still not easy to beat?
view deck string not working have to go to deck page to copy deck
I know the mid hunter deck you're on about and it's really good. it has vul'jin and the new windrunner. you mostly summon minions from tokens, and then resummon with vul'jin like a sort n'zoth or DK Gul'Dan type play.
you're not wrong mate. mid hunter is doing really well right now with those cards.
there are better versions of mech hunter than that one. don't craft oblivitron.
well there are? I'm sorry but the obvlitron version is not as good as some of the newer versions. it's just the facts.
LoooooooL :D salty oblivitron crafters, ahoy. 10 sheets to the wind me hearties. these land lubbin', sodium-boys will not deter us.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ok then.
try and give people solid advice... OK man, don't say I didn't warn you.
the obvlitron deck is sub-par when compared to the flark deck.
Flark for president.
Green lives matter.
I agree with you on the point that there are better Mech Hunter decks (obviously because that deck is a precon), but Oblivitron is still pretty good in the decks that doesn't run Bombs. It's very good tempo swing especially if you're able to get a Mechanical Whelp. Boommaster Flark is also pretty good but I think it's a lot slower and needs a lot more support than the normal version of Mech Hunter (something like the one above).
OK so maybe craft oblivitron for other decks. I should have been more clear. don't craft oblivitron for that deck. there are better bomb hunters now.
oblivitron goes in death rattle hunter anyway if I'm not mistaken.
sorry if my comment was misleading.
also yes. the bomb hunter pretty much counters greedy control decks (the version I have been working on at least, I can't speak for the nine lives/oblivitron variant beyond the stats, I don't have those cards).
It's not so good Vs. aggro. you can tech in doomsayer and or bronze gatekeeper though to help on that front if you wish, but I mostly prefer to play to a decks strengths.
I strictly have bomb hunter as a deck to punish control decks. It does extremely well Vs. all the warrior decks at the minute, and if we end up in a more control heavy meta pocket on the ladder, I can switch to this and clean up (y)
Great decks, but I also don't think the meta is settled yet. Vereesa Windrunner is super powerful with Rapid Fire and Arcane Shot. I think there's a pure-aggro Hunter to be built with Vereesa as the finisher.
Also, I've been playing anti-combo control Warrior with Archivist and having a blast playing 30 minute games where I drag token Druids into fatigue. It also has enough armor to stabilize against Bomb Warrior. But it loses pretty hard to different strains of Mech Hunter.
Meta is great right now, but I'm not sure I can handle two years of Acornbearer. I think that card is single-handedly defining the meta. You can't let Druid get a board of 3+ minions or they'll start buffing it or play Soul of the Forest. Acornbearer allows for such an early flood that you either need lots of board clears or a similarly aggressive early board presence. The Forest's Aid is so powerful in the late-game because you've already spent board clears dealing with f&*%ing squirrels.
I am impressed with the consistency of my rogue spell damage deck.
100% winrate (12 games) vs token druid, all wins easily, like, never be in danger or need luck or something like that, really free wins.
0% winrate (15 games) vs warrior, any warrior, there is no hope, no chance, sometimes I can make the game last long but impossible to win with so much removal, armor gain and lategame value.
I am missing midrange hunter....
Maybe mech hunter is really better, but I piloted midrange hunter on sunday (i.e., when the majority of people with free tickets are already done playing) to 12 wins in the brawliseum.
token druids: just control the board early, the best combo is of course hyena out and unleash the hounds after wisps :)
bom/control warrior: this is what i faced the most. and it's not easy, but if one can control the board, keep life total high, then with the right deck one can outvalue and outfatigue warrior. dire frenzy on tundra rhinos or wyverns creates very massive threats that are also removal at the same time and warrior cannot really deal with that - and they only have 2 brawls.
but well, that was my experience.
I wonder why people downvote this ...
did I say something offensive? just expressed my opinion that imo midrange hutner is doing well. i faced dunno how many bomb warriors by now and didn't lose a single time. (i lost to a control warrior, though, but ... not fatigue, he smacked my face often enough, that was pretty harsh)
Tried the Mechadin list, and I honestly fail to see how it wins games. Most of the time you're either completely overwhelmed or run out of cards.
The mech package has potential but I feel like the Secret shell just doesn't feel like it works.
I'm 13-2 with it right now, from rank like 10 down to 4(ish i don't quite remember rn). It functions as a more aggressive midrange deck, with the secret package generating really good early game, and the ability to grind out games due to big mechs from magnetize and the deathrattles. Cards flow pretty well with hidden wisdom and the prismatic lenses. You just have to not overcommit resources into board clears, and try to bait poly effects using blessing of kings on silver hand recruits. It's really important to know what removal your opponent can have, and how best you can play around it. A well-timed never surrender on a wide board or repentance/auto-defence matrix has won me the game a few times.
The one posted here is the most popular list, maybe the best perfoming one suits you better? Although the difference in winrate is minimal, I prefer the second one because it looks more realistic and "meta-adapted".
