This Card is good, but the problem is that sometimes it just does nothing. But again, you are playing this in a deck with enough minions to sustain it's effect. Also it's kinda cool to have the mech tag, since it can be pulled from discovery effects that warrior have access right now. I have to say, I really wished the shuffle minions in the deck scheme was in warrior, it would be way less broken, and you could be consistent in effects like this this.
The biggest factor about this card: Dr Boom can discover him.
Finally someone who gets it! Cards like this aren’t always strong as a deck slot but mechanics like discover add them to the meta.
I hope the entrance sound gets changed to "BOOM BOOM BOOM! I want you in my room!"
I was already convinced that Dimensional Ripper is going to be very strong. I don't think The Boom Reaver is a must-run card in that deck the way Dimensional Ripper and The Boomship are - that is, if you're on a budget, I think the archetype can work without this even if it is weaker. Regardless, the battlecry is good and it's a good target for Dimensional Ripper, especially because after playing Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, The Boom Reaver will have rush. All around good card to have in that deck.
I think the value with this guy that isn't apparent at first is the fact that it summons a COPY of a minion in your deck. It doesn't pull it from your deck, so you don't put yourself closer to fatigue or waste the card if it's a battlecry or you get board cleared. You'd also get extra value if it pulls a deathrattle minion, like how Barnes was used when he first came out. It could also have Rush by the time you play it since it's a mech.
It looks like a great card, but not a high priority craft. Just something solid you could put in control warrior if you pack it.
maan, how did Barnes end up in the steroids?
Big mocha are almost always dangerous in a Dr. Boom deck. This one is VERY dangerous.
Big warrior gets more toys, now that old toys rotated... so good in wild, but in Stanard idk...
This probably wouldn't even be that good in wild recruit warrior, because you wouldn't want to recruit this and lose its battlecry
Yeah... That too...
If you didn't notice, it summon a COPY of the minion, so it's almost straight value you are not wasting anything
Edit: nvm ! read it the other way around
My first initial reaction was that this was a bad card.
However, it's starting to grow on me. It's likely on average a 7/9 body, deal 4 damage and summon something like a 4/3 body. Obviously results will vary, but on average that's likely what you are getting. That's meaty stats plus something that affects the board immediately which you absolutely must have for such a high mana cost.
I mean, we had decks entirely built around Spiteful Summoner, which is a 4/4 and an 8/8 (on average) for 7 mana, which had a worse deck limitation. For 3 more mana you get about the same stats plus something that immediately affects the board, and could be even better if you really try to create a deck for it. What if this was put in, say, a Dragon Warrior deck?
Not saying this will be a good card (The Boomship never saw much play), but there's potential here, especially if warrior has the tools to stall to the late game. I've gone from "Bad card" to "has potential".
Great point of view regarding this in comparison to Spiteful. I'm in the "has potential" camp now, too.

remember that running this guy gives Dimensional Ripper a chance to pull two 7/9 mechs which if you have Dr. Boom, Mad Genius in play both have rush.
Hmm, maybe big warrior can work. This and the 10 drop revealed seem bad at first, but maybe because that archetype had never worked yet. If a warrior deck that deals with the early game with spells and weapons only is possible, then this could be strong. Recruit warrior almost worked, but fell flat because you'd not have anything left in your deck to close out the game. This has some potential because it summons copies.
I am not convinced yet, but I am picturing summoning Grommash again and again and I at least love the idea!
Barnes in steroids?
Yeah... 10 mana balanced one class card steroids. Which is trash btw.
I'm going to be brave and just say it... I think this is a bad card.
