There's more dragon synergy in this expansion alone than the amount of raven synergy that the entirety of the year of the raven had. (because there was none)

Also Year of the Kraken only had its theme in Old Gods...

Well, Ravens are not a tribe so, you cannot really compare those two. Plus, numerous people are waiting for a Dragon come back (probably for what Dragons represent in the imaginary). So even if they didn't obviously said that it will be a kind of year of dragon tribe, almost everyone expected it when they heard this year will be the dragon year.

Anyway, it's still YEAR of the dragon and two expansions left to be released, so I don't really understand why people are freaking out.

Mammoths during Year of the Mammoth? Exactly 1 as I recall.

The "year" has a vague thematic connection to some of the sets that year: for example the Raven was a thematic element in the Witchwood, the Kraken could be tied to the Old Gods and their followers aquatic/squid designs, but nothing is owed to you. We're already seeing 2 legendary dragons and dragon synergy for the Paladin class, which is a lot by current precedent. Maybe since this is the first year with more narrative content, we'll see some more things revealed as that unfolds that relates to the Evil League targeting dragonflights, but for now enough with the complaints. They're not going to print a whole set of dragons for you virgins!

Come to Year of the Dragon now. They themed it as "Villains engage Dalaran". Lackeys are here, Villains are here. Dalaran Defenders are here but Dragons, Dragon-related stuff aren't here.

Same as for everyone... April 9th in Europe I think it will be evening... Exact time is hard to say, even when Blizzard gave us time they often released it 2 hours or so earlier...

It’s usually been about 7pm GMT when I’ve been able to open packs for the last two expansions

Haven't seen any mention yet how Darkest Hour might be the most ape shit card we have seen in awhile. This will be bonkers in Wild especially. Aggro Lock can have lots of garbage token minions on board for turn 6 and you replace them all with Doomguard, Mal'Ganis, Leeroy Jenkins, Sea Giant and laugh. The TKO potential is huge drawing charge minions after you just did face damage with the small minion board. Or you just pull big minions and if they don't have a immediate hard counter the game is done all the same. Pretty excited to see what this can do.
