Oh man I wanna draft this in arena so bad
Man, we are just 7 days away from no more death knights.
Awesome legendary. Maybe one of the most interesting released so far.
Auto gold craft for me
People didn't like a lot when back in the day in The League of Explorers control matchups were down to "The RNG legendaries that the golden monkey gives me". This is gonna be the same. 30 minutes matchups control vs control that is down to "The RNG I get in the discover". It is not the path I would like to follow for the next 2 years of Hearthstone.
PS: Against aggro is bad
Then here's the door, nobody will stop you. Come p back in 2 years, or be better yet, not at all
O M F G ! ! !
You know what the problem of this card ? You dont want to play her until you run out of card. You can play both Elise on curve. But not this one. Basically a dead card until you enter fatigue
Finally! This reminds me of Elise Starseeker, a lategame value card for control which brings uniqueness to every different game
Cannot wait to play this
and hakar synergy
Yeah, but also hakkar counter...
1) Draw Archivist Elysiana and Princess Talanji
2) Discover Prophet Velen; Malygos; and Mind Blast or Holy Smite
3) ???
4) Profit
I know will almost never happen, but would make a fun highlight.
I don't really like this card because I don't like a ton of anti fatigue stuff, but it's definitely not broken.
It's also tech for hakkar / bomb warrior /toggwaggle (rotating), so if anything like that became tier one you would have something to do about it.
I love Her.
So, basically you are building a deck in the middle of the match. Truly, heart of the cards~ ! xD
noice.
This isn't craft on day 1, but it will absolutely see play. It serves a similar function to Elise The Trailblazer and even Azalina Soulthief. I think combo and face decks are going to be pretty much dead with this rotation/expansion. Zoo will rule the day, and will drive some excellent mid-range, control, and value counters. Bomb warrior will probably be one of them. You know what generates insane value and counters having 3-4 bombs in your deck? This card.
I'm also imagining situations where you have your opponent at <5 life, and you're on a clock yourself. Play this, roll the dice, and if you get even one direct damage card you might be able to win the game on a lark. It's RNG, but knowing when to play this card is skill-based. I love it.
this is crazy cool
Archbishop Benedictus basically had the same effect, but generally more reliable, and the card barely saw any play.
Don't overreact just yet ;)
Maybe I am overreacting, but I do think that this card is significantly stronger than Benedictus because it's neutral, along with providing a threat in itself. As for being more reliable, I wouldn't really say either effect is strictly better since Benedictus would often give a bunch of garbage that would only synergize with specific cards that were in a deck while this one lets you sift through garbage and get generally good cards to topdeck.
That being said though, the big reasons why I think I may have been a bit zealous when looking at the card (and still am) is because it's neutral, which means that warrior, warlock and mage, three classes notorious for having incredibly grinding control decks with no clear win condition other than slowly beating someone down or via fatigue, have access to this.
