why not? :) Assuming we get enough healing to make this card playable in standard, there's no reason why it wouldn't be playable in wild too.
Really powerful. Sure, you can shout "silence", but remember Floop is still in the format. Wall druid is not dead :)
I love how they are pushing this new archetypes.
*Lists obvious hardcounters to this card, which would most likely be hardcounters to any other card as well*

Almost.
Not every other card, just the majority of the cards. Still we are looking at card, that has no on-play effect, has 0 deathrattle/taunt synergy (in standard).
It's playable at best, very far from a Tirion Fordring
i think this card have a lot of potential if heal druid becomes a thing.
be better if we had more consistent heals in druid but you would typically use healing with the new rush card so you would be using your healing early on to activate the rush minion so you have less heals in the late game
but how about Deranged Doctor and Undatakah,
will your Undatakh ever die without silence?
To be logical, it shall go dormant once, then it shall revive with no Undatakah battlecry. So, the revived Undatakah will be without any Deathrattles.
That's how it should work logically, though that hasn't been the case with Sherazin, Corpse Flower. I think that's a bug though, so I'm hoping they fix it and the interaction for Lucentbark works correctly.
will he have the deadrattle when he comes back the first time?
its not logical cuz the deathrattle here is permanent and doesnt finish just buy dying. once you earn it just once it will be with Undatakah forever.
if it finishes with first death of Undatakah it must be the case with Lucentbark too ( cuz Undatakah gains the deathrattle through this minion) but we know Lucentbark will be there forever if no polymorph, so Undatakah will be there too.
there you go, you have a board of never dying heal minions by copying Sample Undatah.
the deathrattle effect in this card is too op, its stats is average even for common card
Well that as it copies the exact deathrattle of that exact card. I'm sure Undatakah will become the dormant tree, like with Sherazin, Corpse Flower. It's the same when Undatakah copies Pyros deathrattle, you get a 6/6 version of pyros in hand and not da Undatakah himself.
Right, but those are two different Deathrattles. Pyros specifies that you get a 6/6 costing 6. This guy says "awaken this minion", as in whichever minion the Deathrattle is attatched to. Similar to the Doppelgangster battlecry creating copies of Shudderwock.
played a lot of sharazan in rogue and that card was very strong especially when you made multiple copies of it. The tools to enable that were easier in rogue but still if you can make a few of these and have consistent heal this would be a game ending combo. Plus druid can always damage itself with the hero power.
Shudderwock, Hadronox, Master Oakheart or Mecha'thun are meta-defining big boys. They are win conditions. And their decks dont get destroyed by a single silence effect.
You know what else was a meta defining card? Patches the Pirate
... you were saying?
He's comparing late game threats to other lategame threats. Shudderwock and mecha'thun are generally better lategame "threats" than this card + baleful banker, as that isn't a game winning play. It is certainly a value play, but that really doesn't mean that much in a combo world... but we don't know what's coming up.
8 mana 4/8 taunt isn't ideal when Ironbark exists. In wild it could be comboed with Deathrattle decks and Hadronox, but we'll have to see if the Druid heal cards are good enough to warrant putting this in.
inb4 Healing Touch gets played in the meta.
