Fair enough. I clearly missed the nod to WC3.
Also Laughing Sisters are dryads.
Yeah, I first thought about them but Grove Tender is a dryad too, so there isn't any reason to expect dryads to have "Can't be targeted by spells or hero powers" based on past cards.
Healing is so much more fair than armoring up.
For all purposes, having access to go way higher than 30hp should only matter against OTK decks and/or decks which cheats out huge boards from nowhere, these decks in turn should be kept in check by aggro decks, making healing just as important as armoring.
The problem nowadays is that some archetypes are so unfair to the point they pray upon their good matchups while not having any real poor match up - that's why Heal Pally won't work in this meta, cause for Maly Druid or Wall Priest it really doesn't matter you being at full HP, and they can be only target by dedicated tech choices, as there's no natural predator for them.
A meta where healing actually matters is a healthier meta.
What is with the blurry card art recently?
It's the screenshot from the presentation. Whenever Blizz prints the real card the correct art gets updated.
Lifeweaver looks like really good card in general. If it was in priest it would have much more obvious future... but Druid? While Blizzard are talking about class identity I don't understand how healing happens to be a druid stuff. Are they really that mad of 50-60 armor druids already?
Druid loses Ferocious Howl, Branching Paths, Oaken Summons, Earthen Scales, Lesser Jasper Spellstone, Ultimate Infestation and the hero card, so no - druid will no longer have 50-60 armor. Basically he will not have armor cards.
Howl is from Witchwood, so that one would still linger around. But all of the other ones yeah, they are leaving Druid without much survival tools.
Healing is more apart of the druid identity then any class besides priest. I think it's about time they print cards that represent that aspect.
In world of warcraft maybe it is part of his identity, but in Hearthstone for past few years it was armor class.
Ferocious Howl stays in standard
This is a really solid move, though. Druid being able to armor up to double or triple its starting life total was pretty frustrating and meta-ruining. Druid being able to repeatedly heal to 30 isn't that broken. Consider the difference in power between Druid's armor combination VS Priest's Quest package. Priest could return to 40 health multiple times in a game and could do so rather easily. This wasn't a meta-defining deck, or even a particularly strong one. Druid's armor package lead to multiple archetypes, that were really just the armor package + whatever win condition.
So they decided to change druid’s armor for heal
Actually im starting to like those new druid cards. It might be interesting.
Exchange letters "W" and "F" places to unlock the artwork true meaning.
Do you mean W and L
This spell looks quite powerful. It's like playing Fire Fly but with Lifesteal. It's good for both Token and Heal druid. I hope it won't be the same shitty meta again
HEAL DRUID 2k19 omegalul
I hope (Whenever "you" restore Health) also works when minion does so and not just hero power/spell.
