I'm surprised no one's mentioned Countess Ashmore yet. If you can get Betrug stick for a turn, She can draw Oondasta and Dr. Morrigan for a huge swing turn. The Lifesteal minion is just icing at this point.
Well, seeing a 5/8 sticking at turn 8 or 9 is kinda unrealistic though...
Oh, absolutely. This isn't going to be competitively viable, but it's still fun to think of all the high-roll possibilities.
I was more thinking some strange The Soularium combo with like Malchezaar's Imp. Couldn't think of too much for standard.
The wording is messed up again. It should say: '...that dies at THE end of YOUR turn.'
If it can summon minions during your opponent turn, then the text is correct. If not, then you're right.
If this is on the board on your side and your opponent plays Coldlight Oracle, then you will summon a copy of any minions you draw and it will be on your opponent's turn. If it were at the end of your turn, you would be able to use those minions. The way it is worded now, they die before your turn.
I hope this isn’t why they nerfed doomguard
Is there a text limit on cards? Because surely "that dies at end of turn." should read "that dies at THE end of THE / YOUR turn." similar to all the other cards with the same condition.
Too slow. Dust it.
pretty sad
Deathrattle cards synergies well with this card and it could give the trade play you needed. The real tempo swing would be if it stays alive and you draw minions to instant trade opponents minions with your copies on board and still be able play minions you need to play to stay alive.
You can also synergies this with Void Terror or even Ratcatcher for even bigger stats on them for only 3 mana if the
Fel Lord Betrug stays alive so that your copied minions wont die in vain. there is also Shadowflame too if you want board clear
The only drawbacks are:
Really cool effect. Not sure at all if this is a good card, but I love thinking about it.
Power Underwhelming
Pretty lackluster for the cost unless you can find a way to guarantee you will draw a strong minion. Draw a spell and the card is a game loser.
RNG at its finest.
Minions that require you to draw cards to get value in general have not worked well in standard. (Archmage Arugal, Dollmaster Dorian) . This one is better statted but costs more. If it ever dies to removal the turn after you play it, it will lose you the game. I have a hard time seeing this making the cut in any competitive deck.
This is a demon, which means you can cheat it out with Skull or Voidcaller into sense demons cube
*Crys in wild*
I want to see all of the meme situations with Arch-Villain Rafaam.
Warlock was one of my favorite class before KnC. since KnC hits I rarely played with him. New Discard Warlock in Rumble Run made me play a bit honestly but it couldn't become one of my favorites again.
With this rotation, It can climb higher in my fav list.
For Da MEME !
So impo I feel this card is set for a midrange-control warlock. Mostly because those decks love board clear. Will it see play is the true question though and I say unless it gets proper support, such as more deathrattles or big cards you want to pull then I have to say no. Mostly because in warlock, outside of zoo, there is a lot of spells you want to play so we need minions to outvalue the spells. That is my current view.
